This Phoenix Gene is absolutely fun and great call back to the best arcade shooters of the past. Having to keep an eye out all around you to both dodge and shoot keeps you on your toes and will give you a great workout at the same time. Luckily I can reduce the difficulty if I just want a fun casual play through. The game runs incredibly well, controls are comfortable and easy to remember and the amount of customization to control your level of difficulty and play is well thought out. Tons of re-playability through unlocks and character progression will have me diving back into this game for hours. I'm also a sucker for speed running so keeping a record of your best scores is much appreciated.2 found this helpful

Absolutely amazing. Fast frame rates. Great options to customize the game. Played on the Quest 2 with Virtual Desktop. Even has support for my bHaptics equipment.1 found this helpful
The games is quite an enjoyable experience. The movement is responsive and the game ran smoothly with my headset(Meta Quest 2). My only real gripe I had playing was the shooting angle being a bit too high, but it sounds like there are settings in the preferences for that. Overall I am invested in the story and will highly recommend this game to those who enjoy story based games with action elements.1 found this helpful
