The Secret of Pineview Forest is a free prequel to Pineview Drive - Rising Storm. Behind the abandoned house on Pineview Drive lies ominous Pineview Forest. The dark, foreboding forest trail leading directly to the Pineview property must be explored – but your every move and reaction is being watched. For 20 years no clues, for 20 years no peace, for 20 years this house on Pineview Drive has not relinquished its tormenting grip on him. Now, he returns in hopes of coming to terms with his nightmarish past.
The ominous legends haunting this seaside lodge have become renown. The stories abound that no one has been able to endure more than 30 days within the mansion since Linda’s disappearance. Facing a force greater than you ever imagined, you must cross the threshold and confront the evil that envelops this cryptic cottage. "The Secret of Pineview Forest" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Pineview Drive". Pineview Drive is a simple (possibly asset flipped) first person horror/jumpscare advanture... one of many hundreds on Steam with very little character or interest as a serious game... and seriously, when there's literally hundreds of versions of the same game glutting Steam as Pineview Drive is, it's hard to say there's any value in it for gamers. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Pineview Drive, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "The Secret of Pineview Forest" too. The purpose of this advert is to get you to pay $2 for the ancient Pineview Drive game that this is advertising. I don't recommend that …2 found this helpful
The most frustrating game in the Pineview series so far. Like, why the sudden switch from something relatively linear to total open world? I can't stand open world games because I'm directionally challenged...1 found this helpful
this game got to boring after a while just to much walking. the game just did not have that much to it too.

С первых минут погружаешься в гнетущую атмосферу заброшенного леса, где каждый шорох и внезапный звук заставляют вздрагивать. Графика, хоть и не самая современная, отлично справляется со своей задачей, создавая ощущение реалистичности и тревоги. Сюжет развивается постепенно, раскрывая тайны прошлого и заставляя игрока постоянно сомневаться в происходящем. Головоломки не слишком сложны, но в то же время требуют внимательности и логического мышления, что только добавляет удовольствия от прохождения. Несмотря на некоторые огрехи в управлении, игра дарит незабываемые эмоции и заставляет сердце биться чаще. Это отличный выбор для любителей психологических хорроров, ценящих атмосферу и саспенс.
