About Little Town Secrets
A first-person indie horror experience set in an abandoned rural village shrouded in mystery.
The place looks frozen in time — homes left open, belongings scattered, and no sign of what happened to the people who once lived here. As you move deeper into the village, strange sounds and subtle movements hint that something is still lurking in the dark. This is a slow-burn, atmospheric horror game focused on exploration, tension, and environmental storytelling. There are no weapons, no easy escapes — only your flashlight, your instincts, and the unsettling feeling that you’re being watched.
Explore a detailed rural environment filled with hidden paths, abandoned homes, and clues about the tragedy that struck this place.Atmospheric Tension
The horror comes from the environment itself — the soundscapes, the loneliness, and the sense that something is following you.Environmental Puzzles
Find notes, solve small environmental challenges, and piece together the story as you move from house to house.

Players appreciate the game's creative vision and cinematic presentation but feel the current state needs significant polish. While the developer has attempted fixes through updates, new bugs have been introduced—including scaling issues where the player character is now too tall for doorways—that can trap players in rooms. The game shows promise but requires further optimization and debugging before it's worth recommending at its current price point.
I cannot recommend this game in its current state. I was genuinely impressed with the game beginning and ending with a cut scene and I can see the dev's vision in this, but the overall product isn't worth the cost. I will happily re-visit this review after some updates come out! *Update 7/13 after first version update* The developer fixed a few issues, like the stairs and a change to the video effects, however in doing so it seems they introduced new issues. The most notable is that the player character is now too tall and has to crouch to enter most doorways. I quickly found myself in a house that I could not exit because I couldn't get low enough to crawl out even though I managed to glitch through the boarded up door originally. Also the settings menus are now completely weird scale wise and impossible to edit. I still cannot recommend this game, and unfortunately it's borderline unplayable now due to the new problems. I hope the developer of this game can take some real time to make it playable and relaunch it in a better state so people can enjoy it! *Original Review* My biggest criticisms surround the design of the world. It needs a lot of polish. -Roads are too long…7 found this helpful
