If you're familiar with the Troma Project films, then you'll already recognise some of the characters in the game like Toxie and Sgt. Kabukiman for instance. As a top-down RPG shooter, The Troma Project was originally released in the early 2000s so expected the chalky audio and 2D background layered with 3D characters that can perform actions. The narrator has a comedic tone in his voice and dialogue, and gave a thorough tutorial when I first started the game. It's turn-based combat is pretty simple and easy to follow. You can alsl oread a brief of the characters, and equip them with items and weapons to upgrade their stats. Despite the bloody graphics and attack animations, the game is accompanied by light-hearted pop rock music which I find humorous. As the devs have stated, 'Please take it not too serious!' My overall gameplay was bugs and lag-free, with smooth visuals and effects. Unless you want a game with a deeper story and more fulfilling plot, the Troma Project is still great for a parody style, non-serious strategy game.5 found this helpful
