They lurk in the darkness, abducting girls and bringing about their deaths—
and have long been feared by society as such beings.However, Vampdolls are not born monsters.
They are victims of a disease—once, they were ordinary girls like any other.
When the illness manifests, the urge to drink blood becomes uncontrollable,
leading them to be persecuted and cast out by society.With nowhere left to go, these girls are taken in by the military,
and due to their extraordinary physical abilities,
are forced to fight massive beasts known as Werewolves……The military then gathers orphaned girls
and provides them to the Vampdolls
as rations for battle……A girl persecuted as a “monster,”
and a girl who has lost her place in the world.
As the two meet, clash, and—awkwardly—forge a bond,
their story unfolds as a Girl Meets Girl tale.
Sometimes assigned by the military,
sometimes chosen by the Vampdoll herself.

Sana Shirafuji, who lost her grandmother and is left alone in the world,
knocks on the military's door to become a "Bride Thorn" to make a living.
A "Bride Thorn" is a "ration" for girls known as "Vampdolls",
who are specialized in combat.
Unaware of this, Sana accepts the military contract out of desperation.
On her first day of enlistment, she meets
Yukine Hanafusa, a beautiful yet disdainful Vampdoll.
Born into a noble family, yet cursed from birth as a Vampdoll,
Yukine is persecuted and reviled as a “monster.”
Shunned even by her own family,
she loathes her bloodthirsty impulses and keeps others at a distance—
rejecting Sana as well.Yet, little by little, Sana and Yukine open their hearts to one another.
On the night of their first bloodsucking,
they are startled to learn that the act brings heightened physical and emotional sensations.
Awkward as they are, the two nonetheless share their first experience of bloodsucking together.Not long after that,
during a certain operation, Yukine is rendered unable to fight.

If you're into yuri, vampires and drama, this VN is a no brainer. It has everything for that, with the addition of pleasant visuals, animations and musics. If vampires is your kink, even more so, as the game features a criminally good VA experience which puts others lewd content to a shame (the game doesn't contains any lewd visuals nor sexual depictions, but the VA of blood sucking scenes, oh dear). The game has its fair share of non-censored blood also, but well, if you have hemophobia, the heck you're looking in a game with vampire in the name. If you're looking for an interesting and well built story and you're the rational kind, erm, it's quite a bit less interesting for you. The story, for what the games provide at least (haven't read or seen any other content about Vampire Bride), has so many plot hole I'd compare it to swiss cheese. There is plenty of ways to instantly topple most key elements of the setup or the events, it doesn't work very well. Still, I recommend it for the bread and circus, which is stellar. "This war was never mean for woman's heart , but still you rise trough it all". The Vampire's Bride Is in a very interesting spot. On one hand its game about vampires , but it kinda reinvents what vampire is. Anyway story itself is solid, however its pretty simple and sometimes(most of the times) common sense get sacrificed to increase drama level. Art is gorgeous here , its beautiful in every possible way . The only downside is that game resolution is fixed to full HD and there is no options so u are forced to play really grainy game if u have 4k. Also CG amount is very low too thats really sad too. Now to the best part of this game which is voice acting. Not only characters in the game are voiced , but the quality is incredible, Most Full budget Animes have worse voice acting than this game , Its simply a masterpiece of a work. Story: And that's unfortunately is mid here, story isnt really bad , its just not very strong. First of all its very generic. Second: even without much of world building or because of that justification for concept of Vampires fighting werewolves feels artificial and lacking any logic behind it. Warning spoiler! I loved everything about this game. I'd 100% play a sequel.
A simple yuri VN that feels like it came out back in the 2000s days, Vampire's Bride is Takano Saku/Waterfall's first VN work that has many elements derive from Kyuuketsuki-chan to Kouhai-chan (Vampire-chan x Junior-chan) and it's a very pleasant one to read, though, compare to Lonely Yuri, this feels more like a one-shot, rather than a VN. Also, you can't go full-screen, for some reasons.. The story is about 8 hours long (ignore my time as I was multitasking when reading the VN) and for some reason, it's broken down to Chapters and Episode which doesn't make sense considering the pace of the story itself, which could be distracting. Intimate scenes are... surprisingly long. While I won't complain about longer yuri stuff going on, the length of these scenes can be uncomfortable since most of it is the sound of two girls making... noises. This is not a eroge by any means, but god it does feel like I'm reading one coming across said scenes. The simplicity of the plot and worldbuilding combined with the length is a bit wasted, although I guess the author wanted to keep it confined as much as possible. Loved the game and story! There were a few places were the English translation could use some improvements, but it's still understandable for the most part. I'm actually kind of sad the story wasn't longer. I want more on Mio/Shiina and Ao/Ibuki's story. Hopefully there will be a sequel!
