Akuru Hayahoshi is an unlucky otaku office worker who just can't pull her husbando in the gacha game she's obsessed with, no matter how much money she throws at it.
Until one day, she runs into the garishly gorgeous and freakishly lucky Ren Furutachi.
A series of misunderstandings lead to a proposal, and Ren starts to full-on pursue Akuru.
One thing leads to another, and in order to bring her husbando home, she ends up... bringing Ren home?!
Now they're sharing a house... and a bed?!
To unpresuming Akuru this cool, lady-loving girl might as well be an alien!
Akuru wants her husbando, and Ren wants Akuru as her waifu...

OshiRabu: Waifus Over Husbandos is a short, lighthearted yuri visual novel with charming art and voice acting that appeals primarily to otaku audiences, though it suffers from an underdeveloped romance where one character seems disinterested for most of the game and the base story feels incomplete without additional patches. Players appreciate the sweet daily-life moments and gorgeous visuals but are divided on whether the thin plot and lack of chemistry between leads justifies the brevity, with some suggesting it's better experienced on sale or with the adult content patch included.
Horrible english title but very wholesome and pretty yuri VN! The story has a silly premise and is really cute and lighthearted. There isn't much to say about the plot as it's mainly about daily life and (admittedly relatable) otaku talk, but the sweet and lively characters, accompanied by gorgeous art, keep it entertaining! Despite the short length the writing doesn't feel overly rushed but the great production value also makes the small amount of content a bit disappointing..20 found this helpful
Super short with a dumb story. Unless you are desperate for mostly fake yuri content there is much better stuff out there. Art style and voice acting are great though. Your MC is an obsessed otaku with anime boys which is her entire personality. The actual lesbian is a high school girl who forces her way into the other's home for a dumb reason. There is no real chemistry and the translation just makes Ren more annoying by throwing American teenage stuff in. Most of the story is Ren trying to make Akuru fall for her and then Akuru telling Ren she doesn't like girls. Got the true ending and I was left thinking "that's it?" Didn't even bother downloading the extra scenario that's how little I cared.2 found this helpful
'Tis a short and cute story that I've enjoyed way more than I thought I would. If you get the voice drama and the ExSection patch [spoiler] adult patch [/spoiler] then it is definitely worth it. It makes it feel way more complete.1 found this helpful
The story was!!! alright.(as of finishing the base game only), I think the artstyle for the CGs was really nice. There were some minor problems with the english translation such as spaces being in the wrong spots, and i think one case of the text going beyond the textbox? overall i think its a pretty decent visual novel. Especially if you can buy it on sale. I do think the common complaint of "this felt like a story about a lesbian in love with a straight girl" is pretty accurate. Akuru is really unaffectionate towards ren for the first 4/5ths of the game, and while the endings were sweet, I dont think they were "enough" to make their relationship feel mutual.
Love the vibes and it has decent length to the story too!!! Would go back in time to play it first-time again.
