✦ AI summary
Players appreciate the clever puzzle design that builds on Sokoban mechanics, along with the art style and atmospheric storytelling, but feel disappointed that the full game shifts away from puzzles toward timed challenges and chase sequences with restrictive camera views. The departure from what made the demo appealing—thoughtful puzzle-solving—combined with frustrating visibility issues in later levels, creates a disconnect between expectations and the final product.
i liked the demo very much and was one of the winners of a free key in the games' forum from the developers. Now my feelings about this game are much more mixed than after the demo. Pros: + The puzzles are mostly well designed and put a nice spin on the classic Sokoban concept. + The art style. + The mysterious atmosphere. + The story works well enough (so far, after an hour of gameplay). Cons: - Contrary to the demo many of the levels don't involve actual puzzles as much anymore, but rather timed challenges (some unnecessarily tight) and getting chased by enemy soldiers. - Even after the developers listened to the demo feedback and let us zoom out, many of the levels don't let you get a good view on them. That becomes an issue when you get to the levels where you can switch to the Anti-Lab dimension. If you switch in the wrong place, you are outside the playing area and the level resets, resulting in lots of trial and error. It gets especially annoying if you're being chased and can't even get a good look on the area for the next attempt. I give it a positive review because it's still a nice idea, and I'll finish it probably.. But if I didn't get it for free, I'm not sure if it…2 found this helpful
