About Oneiros
Liam wakes up late just like any other day, but something just feels different. Doors to his room are locked, laptop's hacked, phone's broken and something just doesn't feel right.
The place definitely looks like his room, but at the same time it just doesn't feel like it is, anymore.
He just had a weirdest dream ever, feels like his head is about to explode and he doesn't remember what he did yesterday.
Find out what's going on and help Liam escape.

Oneiros is a first-person, surreal puzzle adventure game that combines escape-room, classic adventure and crafting/building mechanics into a single narrative-based, surreal experience filled with psychedelic visions.

The game suffers from poor performance due to locked framerate to 60FPS and forced VSYNC. Basically no graphics settings. You play as a very annoying main character that talks to himself all the time with pretty cringy tone of voice. The puzzles are very subpar. They usually require you to interact with every single item in the room, no real challenge, just tedious and boring. The first "platforming" level with levers is poorly designed (no visualy feedback when flipping a lever). There are achievements locked behind achieving high scores in really annoying flash-like minigames, just not fun. I really enjoy puzzle games / escape-room games and I just did not have a good time playing Oneiros, even though I bought it at 1€ (-75% off).4 found this helpful
Oneiros, developed and published by Coal Valley Games, is a surreal first-person adventure that unfolds like a lucid dream caught between waking life and subconscious turmoil. The game follows Liam, a young man who wakes up to find himself trapped inside his own mind, surrounded by distorted memories, impossible architecture, and objects that seem to possess a life of their own. What begins as a simple escape-room scenario soon evolves into a psychological journey that fuses puzzles, platforming, and narrative exploration within an ever-shifting dreamscape. It’s a game that thrives on atmosphere and imagination rather than scale, and though it occasionally stumbles in execution, its ambition and strangeness make it one of the more memorable indie experiments in recent years. Visually, Oneiros is a kaleidoscope of contrasting spaces and moods. Its environments shift seamlessly from the ordinary to the extraordinary—an unassuming apartment can twist into a hallway suspended in the sky or crumble into an abstract landscape of floating geometry and glowing symbols. Coal Valley Games makes impressive use of lighting, color, and environmental transitions to blur the line between reality…1 found this helpful
Short fun surreal puzzle game for a low price. What's not to like?
Most puzzles were fine, but I got somewhat stuck on some. Parkour segments are mid at best. I won't comment on the storyline since I don't have a particular opinion about it. For me, this game is ok and not much more. Oneiros is cheap enough to get a thumbs up from me.
7/10
That was a beautiful game, really nice puzzles and touching story. I really enjoyed the artwork style which was different than the usual. Music adds much to the feel. Recommended!
