About Thunderbird: The Legend Begins

NOTE: This is a short 15-minute experience so please be aware of this before making your purchase. We will be adding additional content as it becomes available and may adjust our pricing to reflect the additional value. Existing users will not have to pay for additional content.

Also, if you find yourself stumped on a puzzle then please observe your situation and/or surroundings more carefully and consider all your options before reporting a bug.

Awarded the Best VR Experience of 2016 at the first Unity AR/VR Vision Summit, this short introductory experience contains approximately 15 minutes of high-quality, puzzle-based, interactive gameplay that showcases the power of true room-scale VR.

                Requires 3.6m x 2m (12 ft x 6 ft) of play space for full room-scale version.

Designed from the ground-up for room-scale gameplay, Thunderbird encourages natural movement for both navigation and interaction giving the ability to walk freely around the virtual world while using your hands to interact with objects, just as you would in real life.

This freedom of movement eliminates all probability of sim-sickness and offers the most immersive VR experience to-date.

                  Requires 1.2m x 1.2m (4 ft x 4 ft) of playspace and a 360' tracked area.

For those lacking the playspace required for full room-scale gameplay, this Home Edition offers an intuitive teleportation feature so that users can enjoy the full experience without any of the discomforts and side-effects that are commonly associated with artificial locomotion in VR. Please Note: 180' formats are not supported.

Would have been mind blowing even in it's unfinished state if it had released back in 2015 when we were drooling over the videos, but by 2017 it was far too late, so many incredible VR games had come out, same as skyrim vr

So short, if you blink it is over. We were promised more free content but it never happened after years of waiting. Do not buy this.

Being a Myst fan I fell for the sales pitch, paid to play the demo on SteamVR ages ago, terrific, loved it; but not one update in 2 years from the then 17 year old Tony Davidson's "father and son team" on any forum; they seem to have fizzled out without even the courtesy of being honest & braving up to inform paying Steam customers why. Such a shame & so dissapointing. Now this Kickstarter style method of 'pay as you go' funding seems to be taking off, I wish Steam had a policy in place like Kickstarter that if Devs don't regulary update customers projects or their projects come to nothing they have to refund the backers; otherwise it encourages rougues to create a short sequence, trawl a few grand then vanish in the night. I'm not buying anymore 'in developement' games unless they have an official website with a customer contact or an active Discord forum.

Unplayable due to a game breaking bug causing a misalignment of the periscope. I spent less than an hour in the game, about 95% of which was trying and failing to work around the bug. It's unfortunate that I'm now outside the refund period. Even if you're lucky enough not to encounter the bug, the game only offers about 10 minutes of playtime.

Way too short, just a tech demo, looks really nice and shows promise but the cost is too high until more content is available.
