"this can't be a souls like it's 1st person" it has a roll, you can change weapons, you can level your character, you can parry. this game was a good time, had some weird things though. a few bosses are just like super easy, like there's some kind of gimmick to them, but it doesnt work. there's a magic parry button and a magic meter, but only 1 boss uses it really, unless one of the optional ones I missed also did that idk. final boss tried to mimic every other fight, which means it has phase transitions for all of these which means if you just hit him a bunch you can just make the fight easier. also maxing strength just kinda works. still fun game, enjoyed it.

It's awkward gameplay wise and to say that it is rough around the edges would be an understatement, but it's got it's charm and, oh boy, is it a strong charm. Is this a must buy for the boss rush fans? No. Is this a fun romp through ancient Grome? Absolutely
