About Valor & Blade

Valor & Blade is a focused, Souls-inspired action RPG centered on deliberate combat, consistency, and mastery.Descend into a cursed gothic dungeon that reshapes itself every cycle. While the dungeon layout changes, enemy encounters remain consistent, allowing players to refine their skill, timing, and positioning through repetition rather than progression grinding. This is an intentionally compact experience designed for players who value combat clarity, fairness, and mastery over large worlds or broad content variety.

CORE FEATURES

⚔️ Souls-Inspired Combat
Deliberate combat focused on timing, positioning, and learning enemy patterns.🏰 Procedurally Generated Dungeon Layouts
A single gothic dungeon reshapes itself every cycle, offering new paths and room configurations while preserving encounter consistency.🔁 Cycle-Based Structure
Defeat the dungeon’s final trial to begin a new cycle as the dungeon rearranges itself.🧠 Mastery Through Repetition
A small, focused enemy roster designed to reward pattern recognition and player improvement.🗡️ Face The Eternal Warden
A heightened enemy encounter that serves as the dungeon’s final trial each cycle.🎯 Skill-Focused Progression
Low-level progression places emphasis on player skill rather than stat scaling or grinding.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Valor & Blade is intentionally minimalist in scope.
 • The game features one gothic dungeon
 • Enemy types and behaviors do not change between cycles
 • Enemy variety is limited and designed for mastery
 • Boss encounters are an elite variant rather than cinematic multi-phase battles
The challenge comes from learning encounters, refining execution, and adapting to new dungeon layouts rather than discovering new content.

CURRENT VERSION NOTES

This is the 1.0 launch of Valor & Blade.
 • The experience is compact and focused
 • Additional content and features may be added post-launch
 • Player feedback will help shape future updates

Not my usual genera of games, but I still checked it out. I typically play multiplayer ghost hunting types. I like the music, and the fact this game is compatible with a controller. The hole in the very beginning became an instant nemesis. After finally learning how to jump over it, the next hurtle was learning how to survive getting ganged up on by multiple skellies. Running away doesn't really do anything because you have to defeat them to get the gates to open. It doesn't separate them to help you take them on one by one either. They stay together. Only 2 hours in so far, and I'm enjoying it.

First and foremost, this looks as though it is the first title of "TechGladiator" and a very promising one at that. I am looking forward to playing more, it's got lots of potential. Good job. What I enjoyed :

The game ran smoothly. I used the Vulkar loading option, as I would for Baldurs Gate as a Laptop gamer and it ran extremely well.
The visuals are very nice, I love the map design at the beginning as you are crossing the bridge, it feels very beautiful.
The game is very well-lit. For a dungeon-based game, it doesn't feel dreary, it's got the perfect balance of atmosphere and it is quite enjoyable.
The tutorial is amazing, its explained very well. It has just enough text to make it intuitive and engaging and explains very well.
A lot of love has clearly gone into this game from just the developer's updates, profile, steam page but also the game itself. You can clearly see a lot of inspiration like the death screen, the colours of the UI and just in general the game but its their own unique spin on it to make it a very relevant title and a project of love.
Despite not having played many of these sorts of games, it was quite grip…

I enjoyed it a little my only gripe is it doesnt have much replay ability once you get to a certain point the weapons one or two shot enemies and there hp doesn't increase through the cycles.

Pretty good game, I went through a few 'cycles' and felt like I was learning the enemies pretty well (which was the intentional with having only a certain amount of enemy types). Got some good potential to build on but as it stands right now it's a fun game to try to master.
