Turner

Turner is a puzzle platformer that does something I really like with a simple idea. I play as Turner, a man stuck inside an asylum with very little idea of what is going on, and I have to work my way through the building by rotating the entire world around me. Instead of just moving Turner around a normal platforming level, I can change the direction of the level itself so that walls become floors and different paths open up. It gives the game a strange feeling because I am constantly thinking about the whole room rather than just the character. The world rotation is easily the best part for me. At first I am mostly using it to reach places that seem impossible, but the levels gradually start asking me to think about how several different sections connect together. I can rotate the environment to change where Turner lands, then rotate it again to create another route. Later on I get abilities such as wall jumping and sliding through narrow spaces, which gives the puzzles another layer instead of just making the same rotation trick harder. Игра "Turner" — необычный проект, сочетающий элементы стратегии и головоломки. Визуальная составляющая впечатляет: стильный минимализм и плавные анимации создают атмосферу мистики. Solid platformer. There are an insane amount of levels. Each one is short, but most are quite challenging. Some of the levels require quick reaction, lite puzzle solving, and/or the occasional precision platforming skills.
