I'm still not quite sure how the story fits in as a prequel to Elder Scrolls: Oblivion but I prefer this one since it has guns and dinosaurs.2 found this helpful
Good game!1 found this helpful
Well, it's decent but apart from being nice to finally play a N64 exclusive title on PC, i really don't see anything else that makes it better than the previous games.1 found this helpful
This is not good. I wouldn't even recommend it on sale; a poor conclusion to the Turok trilogy. The original asking price is absurd, but even on sale I would steer clear unless you're absolutely positively determined to experience all 3 games.
pros - i get to help my gf move today , my brain bled , i no longer have to sit down might go for a walk , i get to book a taxi cons - this is not a remake it is trash i can only recomend the game if u are a hardcore classics fan and are wanting to exspereince a turok game. it is outdated and honestley not worth playing anymore luckily it was 7 dollars and not 40 dolars highly recomend avoiding.
Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion is easily the best of the original trilogy for me. Turok 2 had great combat and weapons but was dragged down by overly convoluted maze-like level design. In comparison, Turok 3 feels like a breath of fresh air. The levels are much more linear and focused, which I personally enjoyed a lot more. It keeps the action moving without constantly making you feel lost or forcing you into tedious backtracking. The choice between two protagonists is also a nice addition, giving the game a bit more replay value and variety. On top of that, there are tons of weapons to mess around with, and the game constantly throws new enemies, environments, and situations at you. The level and enemy variety greatly helps to keep the campaign stay fresh from beginning to end. All in all, this is a solid early 2000s shooter and, in my opinion, the strongest of the three classic Turok games.
