In this fifth round of releases, we offer the 1990 release of "Uncharted Waters."
It is set in the 16th century, in a time when adventures roamed the 7 seas in search of new discoveries. Players command great ships, battling pirates, gathering information and getting rich through trade while seeking adventure throughout the known world.

Played this on the original Nintendo, back when the company was the savior of gaming. That first night i stayed up 16 hours straight exploring, trading, battling, and gambling. Some of my fondest gaming memories involve this game. When I saw it on Steam, I got excited. I have been yearning to play this game again for over 30 years. Though the Steam page warned me that this was in Japanese, I bought it anyways. There had to be some gamer somewhere in the world that translated this game or posted game play in English. Wrong. And it is unplayable without knowing Japanese. I do not speak or read Japanese. So, if you speak Japanese or know someone who does, grab this gem. As for me, I guess I have to yearn for my old love to learn English so that we can be reunited. Or I will need to learn Japanese.41 found this helpful
