■ PIRATE YAKUZA ADVENTURE AHOY!

I originally avoided this game last year because of its price tag at launch but now that it's a little more discounted I gave it a chance it was well worth it. As a yakuza game it doesn't disappoint and it has that same comedic level as in yakuza 0 but dialed up a lot. highly recommend to anyone whos played any yakuza game previously or if you're into pirate games like AC Black flags

The game is great, the mechanics are almost the same as Gaiden in Infinite Wealth Map, just added the nostalgic Black Flag-style pirate fights that I finished on PS3 back then.

Games just really fun, don't go into it thinking it's gonna be a really serious yakuza game cus it's not, it's very goofy which i'm glad after Infinite Wealth but there are some opposite moments aswell. For things that i liked: +The new mad dog & the new style + Jumping and doing combos mid-air like DMC +Simple story & fun characters +Long battles & Treasure hunting +Low substory count, most were decent +Musical intro +A "cat" +Great new Karaoke songs + Character customisation & Finding chests around the map for accessories +Rings was a cool take on gears +It's a Pirate game idfk loool SPOILER WARNING FOR THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE SPOILER WARNING FOR THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE SPOILER WARNING FOR THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE things i didn't like : -Ship battles & travelling via the ship, ship battles i'm mixed on really, it's fun and i like how it's different but god do these drag on sometimes (the final queen fight for example) i get what they were doing and it was executed fine, but i just didn't like it, travelling via ship is super boring aswell and how it's just so slow even when you're spamming the boost, it didn't help when you could just get spotted by a ship 100 miles away. -One heat ac…

the game is as fun as the other franchise but feel abit shorter the ship battle is fun but i do not like the new combat system as much as those from the older franchise

Not kidding. This is at least a dozen games in one. Are they all super high def sim games? No. And the first 10 hours is very linear. It has to introduce you to all the games, mechanics and characters. And there is A LOT. If you can grind through that, the world really opens up. And there's a lot of open world fun to be had. There's also A LOT of dialogue you can just skip. Or, you can listen/read it all if Visual Novels are your thing. It's a funhouse mirror reflection of Black Flag without the parkour and a more in depth combat system. And a bunch of mini games.
