"Underground Waifus TCG" is yet another garbage mobile app scam with an in-game cash shop, as once more mobile devs try to scam PC gamers with P2W mechanics. This badly written card games has pictures of anime girls (probably stolen off the internet), and also it's apparently broken as the developers ripped the back end servers. And they don't want to use Steam authentication because that makes it harder for them to scam gamers. This has some really mediocre looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarly visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. This isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurr…

I recommend trying it. Then I recommend running away. The gameplay is surprisingly refreshing, and while it seems mostly random, strategy is what wins games. I loved it. The waifus part is just cringe How do you do fellow g@m3rz, but for some reason, the girls look like they've been made by an actual person who kinda failed to draw real soulless big-chested creatures that one could call "AI art" like all the other NFT games, making it pathetic and sympathetic at the same time. The UI is minimalistic but works well, and the sound design is more than fine. My biggest complaint would be the lenght of animations that really makes battles slow. Voicelines plus effects are too much. That being said, the game isn't fun and shouldn't last more than a week : - Extreme p2w. Quite fun in fair fights where strategy is still the win condition, but someone who opened 10 boosters (obtainable after winning 1 game) will crush a noob, and someone who got a couple legs or rarer will crush those who farmed boosters (I opened about 30-50, only got 3 legendaries). - S T A M I N A. I know it's about waifus, but I'm not here for edging. Stamina is atrocious, I just have to constantly think abo…

Underground Waifu TCG: A Full House of Failure (and Questionable Art) Welcome, intrepid card-slingers, to a review of a game so fundamentally broken, it makes Limbo look like a fully polished AAA title. Today, we delve into the murky depths of Underground Waifu TCG, a game that promises strategic card battles and… well, it mostly just delivers headaches, despair, and an existential crisis about your life choices. Let's start with the grand entrance, shall we? Or rather, the grand non-entrance. Logging into Underground Waifu TCG is less "seamless experience" and more "digital game of Russian Roulette." Attempting to use your Google account is an express ticket to the "Logged in on a different location" error message, even if that "different location" is just your brain trying to comprehend why you're still bothering. I've had more stable connections with a tin can and a string. My advice? Follow my lead: ditch your main email. Create a burner address. This game reeks of a developer who thinks "data security" is a type of rare monster drop. Once you finally—and I mean finally—limp past the login screen, you're immediately thrust into… well, nothing. The tutorial is so non-existent, I…
