The controls are clunky, slow, and in a game that seems to need quick responses that makes this a complete mess.

So I'm not gonna lie, I was so ready to quit the game in the middle as I was getting really frustrated. But I'm glad I stuck through. I find the beginning and the ending of the game to be quite enjoyable. My main gripe is that in the middle they introduce the hysteria system, which completely conflicts with killing enemies and makes the game way harder. However, that gets circumvented later and the game becomes enjoyable again. The art is very good and the story is very interesting and the ending was unique. The gameplay (aside from the middle) is also fun and quite unique with a very interesting movement mechanic. I enjoyed my experience with the game and definitely recommend it.

hilariously jank game. so PAUSE is L1. possibly the smallest??? issue with the controls. this should give you an idea about the overall state of things gameplay - ??? some of the VAs including the MC - ???. boss battles - ??? modern quality of life features, despite the controls - ??!!where did THAT come from and yet this has charm. a SOUL, if you'd like. all i know is if it were released on megadrive in my childhood, this'd probably be loved. the world's better with this game in it than not, so my rating is positive.
