About UPUPUP

About This Game
UPUPUP is a jumping action game. Go up to the sky with the lonely protagonist. Navigate through multiple obstacles, try not to fall, and reach your destination. To reward your efforts, your jumping power will increase as you jump. It is not saved. Fail, adapt, and try again.

Does the level increase every time you jump?
In this game, experience points increase each time the character jumps, and when the character reaches 100%, the level increases by 1. As the level increases, your jumping power increases. There is no save, but your effort is rewarded with jumping power.

Controls
Character movement is done using W, S, A, and D, and jumping is done with the space bar. If you are unable to move because the terrain is stuck, you can reset to the initial position with the R button.

"UPUPUP" is a rather pooly made 3D platformer made out of what look like low quality stock/flipped assets. It's janky, with poor handling, and doesn't make a lot of sense either.. what's the point of this platformer? Nobody knows. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. It's made with Godot's 3D engine, which is actually an okay engine, but looking at this game you wouldn't believe it... this is incredibly janky. You clip through a lot of the platforms, end up standing on invisible platforms... and where are the audio controls? No wonder Godot has such a bad reputation for making awful games. The 2D engine definitely does (it's never been used to create a successful game). And as this game shows, most developers simply can't work out how to use the 3D one. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game.…

terrible clone of "only up" that uses mismatched store bought assets that don't even have proper collision. music is dull. controls are basic but passable. you couldn't pay me to play this again.
