About Uranus
Uranus is a short visual novel for adults only.
It's a story about the people in a small, mysterious town. They like to party, get drunk and get laid. There's a lot of downtime for them and gossiping is a sport. They think they can talk privately but are about to discover erotic interruptions. Follow along with them and discuss your own interests. Hear the rumors. Experience their sexy stories along the way!
Latest version adds an interactive dialogue sequence.
Each page in the story contains a CG (high quality render). There are over 110 unique CGs used (sometimes repeated) throughout the story. An occasional clicker mini game challenges the player before unlocking the next scene. There are no branches and only one ending to the story, but there's a few opinion based choices similar to those found in a dating sim. All choices are used to determine one of six (single page) bonus endings to the story. Replay the game and try to unlock all of the endings!

To be honest, the story was difficult to track. They encounter a strange shirtless man, whom offers them a drink. Hell yes! Imagine Ulysses without all the bothersome Irish dialect interpretation... Just as confusing as when you read it in High School without all that angst and testosterone crowding appreciation of Joyce from your teenage, suck-reflect-reduced brain. A whole lotta WTF, but now Culturally Relevant! In the game, you roam from dream state to dream state (did you shave this morning or was that in Finnegan's Wake?) as people with strange names and habits poke at your soul with impossible to decipher and (as all things are in life) pointless puzzles. Puzzling indeed... IF you were to plunk down more than the very modest price being asked, but trying to find all 6 endings especially fun when I can't really figure out how to tell that I reached an ending... Did I really accomplish anything? Have I grown? Does this game make me look fat? Warp your mind-- you know you want to.1 found this helpful

Those 3D models give me the creeps if I stare at them for too long. There's no history tree diagram thing, so I had to create my own slenderman page in notepad. Skipping also has a noticeable delay: you can mash your mouse as fast as you want, but every path that's a repeat-ending takes roughly 3 minutes of your precious time.[/quote]
