Craps took all my money the dirty dogs!

Craps is one of those games that looks ridiculously complicated until you actually learn how it works. Rolling the dice, watching the table play out, and deciding which bets to make captures that same "just one more roll" feeling you'd expect from craps. The biggest issue is how quickly the chips vanish. You get plenty of chips early on, but once you start wagering large amounts, they can disappear surprisingly fast. Maybe the odds just weren't in my favor, but the way the losses pile up makes buying more chips with real money feel like part of the intended experience, much like gambling with real money at a real casino. Not exactly surprising monetization in a gambling game that incorporates in-game currency to bet with. It's good for learning and practicing craps, but I'd keep your expectations low and your in-game bankroll lower.

Vegas Craps by Pokerist is exactly what it sounds like, but I was still impressed by how convincing the casino presentation feels. I can play craps in a fully three dimensional casino environment while playing against other people online. I liked that the focus stays almost entirely on the table and the actual dice game instead of trying to turn it into something it is not. The controls are straightforward, which makes it easy for me to get into a round quickly. The realistic animations and physics help the dice feel more physical than I expected from a free casino game, and the multiplayer structure gives the tables more life than playing against a completely empty interface. I also like the social side of the experience. There are other players around the tables, communication features and a broader online casino atmosphere, so it feels more like visiting a digital casino than simply opening a basic dice simulator. The daily chip rewards also encourage me to come back regularly, although the overall progression is still built around the casino model. The presentation is probably my favorite part. To call this a "free game" is misleading on both counts. C-tier mobile crap that doesn't belong on Steam. What is the benefit of playing live "with" others when we are talking about things like craps and slots? If you want to learn how to play, just find a good simulator. Hell, I learned how to play when I was about 10 by playing Super Ceasar's Palace on the Snes. I didn't need to constantly buy play money with real cash. Awful
