Vehicle VR

Vehicle VR is a really badly made tech demo of a "game" where you drive a low poly buggy thing around minimalist untextured platforms... the game plays worse than the screenshots make it look. This is not a game for playing, it's a game for putting down and avoiding. The game is very simplistic, small and limited in scope and ambition. This feels more like a tech demo, proof of concept or student homework assignment rather than a fully fledged product designed for PC gamers. As such it doesn't offer any real value as a serious PC game. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game features lazy minimalist/untextured low-polygon "retro" assets and visuals, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the early 1990s. Tbh, i bought this game just to looking for its achievements, Dont buy this game if you don't have enough patience, because this game has suck levels design and suck car's physic. but i still respect the developer of this game, so i gave them a good review

I got this game in a bundle two years ago. It has sat unplayed in my library ever since – mostly because the screenshots and description didn’t catch my interest, in the shadow of all the other great VR games out there. I finally dusted off my gamepad yesterday and gave it a shot. In its favor, it’s sort of addictively difficult. The maps are small, and they don’t look like they should be THAT hard to get through – but it took me nearly 15 minutes of trial and error just to clear the first one. You must be very precise in how you navigate, or find yourself falling into oblivion. Speaking of which, in VR this is not for those with weak stomachs – there’s no comfort mode standing between you and the raw tumbling you’re certain to do on these tracks. The graphics are very basic, and the whole thing sort of seems like a demo project for learning to build a game. I can’t recommend it for the full $2 asking price, but seeing I got it in a bundle for like $0.30, I’ll give it that much value. Thumbs: UP!

- My eyes hurt from playing this game and I didn't even play it in VR. I don't think playing in VR would be better. - The physics is bad (sometimes colliding with a ramp sends the car flying, booster pads sometimes don't accelerate the car at all, car movement is unpredictable sometimes) - The 3rd person camera is bad (If the car is not upright the camera goes crazy, which happens often on jumps). Looking around with the camera is not possible, figuring out where to go next is mostly trial and error. - I played mainly with keyboard. The ESC key brings up the menu in game, but the menu doesn't handle keyboard input, which is frustrating. - Controller support barely exists, unless you setup everything with Steam Input. Again, you can bring up the menu with the controller but there is no easy way to navigate the menu or resume gameplay with the controller either. - The objective of the level is not explained anywhere, it took me a while to figure out where I needed to go. Even if this game is classified as a rage game it feels like the controls and the gameplay is just bad, in addition to the game being basically unfinished.
