About Video Realms
Video Realms is a games-in-one collection of short sci-fi stories: Carnage Cross, Sanitize, and Starglades.
The first installment, Carnage Cross, is a vehicular deathmatch game with six playable drivers, eight levels, and an arsenal of weapons, specials, and pickups at your disposal. Play the first episode, "Leo's Report", or select your own driver and map through the Level Select option. Updates for Carnage Cross are planned throughout development.
Starglades is a 2.5D platformer with RPG elements and companion combat. The player must learn new abilities to defend innocent domains from deletion, traveling through dark and whimsical landscapes, solving puzzles, helping others, and overcoming hostile obstacles to reach this goal.

Playable Carnage Cross: Episode 1, "Leo's Report" - a singleplayer story mode with seven deathmatch levels and six different vehicles to control.
Carnage Cross Level Select Menu: Mix and match drivers and deathmatch stages, includes one extra playable map, Midway.
Playable Starglades: Episode 1, "The Heist" - a singleplayer story mode influenced by the aesthetic of early webcomics, flash games, and RPG concepts, Starglades is suitable for all ages.

Video Realms is an abandoned Early Access attempt at making a Steam release with three unrelated games in it. I mean... they didn't have $300 to launch three games separately so they tried to save money by launching them all under the same title? Doesn't make a lot of sense, does it? Anyway the developers abandoned this a couple of months after dumping it on Steam and haven't updated it in more than a year, so it's dead and will never be finished. The two available games are a crap 2D retro pixel platformer (sigh), and the other which gamers would be interested in is a third person vehicle shooter/ripoff of Carmageddon. Unfortunately it's completely crap, with low poly art assets (they don't look too bad thanks to some good texture work). The problem with that game is just how ridiculously buggy it is... touch any obstacle the wrong way and your car does a comical flip and roll up in the air. You clip into all kinds of things and you have to make sure not to drive so a building is where your camera is or it will block out and you can't see a thing. Музыкальное сопровождение отлично дополняет атмосферу игры, создавая полное погружение в мир пиксельных приключений. Несмотря на всю свою простоту, 'Video Realms' обладает неожиданной глубиной. Сюжет, хоть и незамысловат, оставляет приятное послевкусие, а спрятанные секреты и пасхалки мотивируют к повторному прохождению. Единственным минусом можно назвать относительно небольшую продолжительность, но, надеюсь, разработчики порадуют нас дополнениями в будущем. Yeah the car combat looks kinda fun, but it needs a hell of a lot more work. What you've got so far is good groundwork - keep it up!
[b]I don't recommend this as a game. Only play this if you like "TESTING GAMES",[/b] because this is set of tech-demos that Developer uses as "portfolio". So there are currently 3 games inside, one does simply crash upon "checkpoint" (Starglades), other is in preview state. Only 1 of 3 (dubbed "Carnage Cross") is playable and has 6 levels - it's something like Derby Racing with weapons... It's quite short, but playable. It could benefit from more "stable" gameplay IMO, because currently it is very chaotic... I could not really understand HUD and therefore had problems to determine why sometimes powers/weapons do not work.
