Warning: Asset Flip!
Galaxy Arena is a Digital Homicide style Unity asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. It's important to also note the "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. This time they've done a very basic FPS wave survival arena shooter where you sit in a badly textured arena and use asset flipped guns to shoot waves of Unity Asset store monsters. There's zero depth in the gameplay and zero interest for gamers in this cash grab shovelware. Galaxy Arena developed by CICUN and published by kovalevviktor is a stripped-down arena shooter that embraces a no-frills approach to first-person combat, delivering a compact experience centered on survival, reflexes, and straightforward gunplay. Framed within a sci-fi premise involving alien threats and a simulation gone wrong, the game places players in the role of a soldier thrust into a hostile environment where the only objective is to fight off waves of enemies and endure. It’s a concept that echoes the roots of classic arena shooters, focusing less on narrative complexity and more on immediate, moment-to-moment action. The gameplay is built around a simple loop: enter an arena, eliminate incoming alien enemies, and survive as long as possible using a selection of weapons. Movement and shooting form the backbone of the experience, with an emphasis on staying mobile and reacting quickly to threats from multiple directions. The controls are easy to grasp, making it accessible even for players who are not deeply familiar with the genre. Weapons provide some variation in how encounters unfold, encouraging players to adapt their approach depending on the situation, but the overa…1 found this helpful
It has a pretty good and addicting loop and a working online leader board1 found this helpful
The cover of this game makes it look like an epic adventure but it's unfortunately just a waste of time. It's probably a Unity asset flip with no goal other than to survive in a tiny arena. The enemies are weak but occasionally you will randomly insta-die for no reason, which is the worst kind of game. Around a minute a boss shows up and you can grind through him with the minigun since the guns never seem to run out of ammo and this just repeats over eternally as far as I can tell. There is a leaderboard but the people at the top are probably there because they are less skilled as much as extremely bored because there's nothing to this "game."
just why?
