The game works. It's not very fun unless you have fond memories of it.12 found this helpful
Zephyr is an old-school title that holds up mainly as a nostalgia trip. While its obviously very dated, those who played it at release (like I did) might still appreciate its charm. I remember being amazed by how good it sounded for its time, and the pixel artwork really stood out. If you have fond memories of it, it's worth revisiting - multiplayer was so much fun! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=35110167708 found this helpful
To second the other review on here right now: This game is fully functional, and helpfully includes a PDF of the manual to help out with the instructions, which is good, because you're not going to get any of that once the game boots up. I don't know if anyone coming to this game without nostalgia is going to find it fun, but there are some interesting things here for a game that's almost 30 years old. Nice to have this piece of history still around, and it runs beautifully. This idea could do very well as a modern game with some new progression hooks and gameplay tuning, but it feels a bit muddled as it is. That's a shame, because I don't know of another game doing exactly this sort of thing and scratching that itch. With that in its favor, I recommend it.3 found this helpful
once you get the hang of it, it's a pretty fun little arena style fly around and blow up apposing fighter ships game.Didn't play this one back in the day but would have had i ever ran across it.
