VR Coaster Extreme

Totally broken on Index. The game starts and all I can do is move the hands and point at the tracks. No controls work at all.

Tried playing on a Vive Pro using OG Vive wands, AND tried with Index controllers. As a few others have stated, game WILL NOT START. You can get to the menu, you can point and highlight coasters, but no buttons (tried on Vive wands, Index controllers, and every key on the keyboard and mouse) do ANYTHING to actually ride a coaster. 100% broken game.

Could not even run the game.

For an abandoned game forever stuck in beta, it’s OK. All six coasters feel beta, even the house and pirate ship coasters feel unfinished, like better graphics or more surprises were coming. I kept expecting giant people in the home, for example, alas, no. This main problem with this game is that it misses a lot of chances it sets up for itself. Like I expected a kraken attack on the pirate ship, or cannons, or pirates. Nope. There were no giant people in the house setting and the city started strong with a vertical climb and planes, then nothing. I like that the game tried to be original, and there were fun moments like the stairs in the house and underwater sections with the pirate ship, but if we are honest almost all these settings have been done before and with more polish. The city coasters, for example can’t stand up to more finished coasters complete with flaming wrecks and zombie invasions. I’d have rather seen one fantastic coaster than two good coasters and four meh ones. And that’s a shame because what this game does get right is fantastic. I enjoyed the balls on the stairs in the house and the animals underwater, plus the vertical climb in the city game me serious…

i love it. any plan on more coater idea?

VR COasters Extreme is a pretty cool "early access" game. It is obvious that it is still running a Beta phase as there are numerous areas of temp textures, going through art, and some stuttering. It also needs a good audio pass as the cooler levels like the pirate ship and the mine/cave stage could really sell this game. It is not a bad game, but it is also not a must buy. Will it make you dizzy? Probably, there are so good turns that will make you feel weird, especially if you are not focused on the track and looking at the enviornment. Played on the Oculus Rift.
