About Waste Walkers
It is perhaps a decade into our future... Mankind's future. The economies of the world have imploded. Governments have waged war on both their neighbors and their own citizens. There has been a complete collapse of society, order, infrastructure, and morality. Horrific weapons have scarred the earth and vaporized entire cities. Those who have not yet perished are forced to scavenge and struggle for survival. This is their new reality. Hordes of disfigured creatures hunt for food. Gangs of bandits rob, kill, and loot. You are but a dim flicker of light in a dark and dying world. This is the world of Waste Walkers.

Really solid nuclear post-apocalypse RPG. I had a good time going through the world, scavenging for supplies and fighting. If you enjoy S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or Fallout and are familiar with RPGmaker games, you'll like this game too. I've yet to play through the DLCs yet, but they look promising as well! I'd give this game a 9/10. Definitely among the top-tier RPGmaker games I've gone through. Even though I set my playthrough on hardcore, it felt pretty easy from start to end. It had its moments of difficulty -- like
encountering both gun-type bandits, pyros, and bombers
-- but the biggest spike in difficulty was in the optional arena questline. Still, you have PLENTY of methods to counter enemies and grow really powerful against them. Like Fear & Hunger, knowing your enemies makes fights against them really manageable. Story-wise, it's short but pretty immersive. It may be a bit predictable, but that's nothing against it.
This may be me wishing for a happier end, but it would be cool if you could actually save your family from Snare without them dying. Then, you could have them live back in the eco-center once you finish claiming it as your own colony.[…2 found this helpful
Waste Walkers, developed and published by Corrosive Studios LLC, is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game that wears its inspirations proudly while establishing an identity of its own. Set in a world shattered by catastrophe, the game places players in a harsh landscape where humanity has been reduced to scattered pockets of survivors struggling against famine, violence, and the remnants of a forgotten civilization. Rather than focusing on cinematic spectacle, Waste Walkers embraces the philosophy of classic computer RPGs, offering a slow-burning adventure built around exploration, survival, and meaningful character development. Its setting immediately evokes the desolation of beloved wasteland-themed franchises, yet it retains a distinctly independent charm that makes it stand apart from many modern RPGs. At the heart of the experience is its extensive customization system. Players are free to shape their survivor through various attributes, equipment choices, and progression paths, allowing for a highly personalized journey through the wasteland. The game's open-ended structure rewards experimentation, whether players prefer direct confrontation, careful preparation, or a more ba…1 found this helpful
The story isn't deep, but the writing is good. A nice, open world where you can run around and explore, with turn-based combat, and lots of things to think about while playing. I enjoyed my time with it.1 found this helpful
Great gameplay, lots of customization and a story with depth. I enjoy it!1 found this helpful
Sus.
https://youtu.be/WDtCHw1t1lI Not quite finished, especially for quality of life and player onboarding, the slug fest RPG Maker combat and heavy inventory management are drains on the excitement.
