About Wasteland 3
Lead a squad of Desert Rangers through a frozen post-apocalyptic Colorado, making brutal moral choices that reshape the story and deciding whether to save or doom an entire region. Customize your team of up to six soldiers with tactical abilities and weapons, then command them in challenging turn-based combat while unraveling a tale of corruption, warring factions, and family betrayal.

In Wasteland 3 you take command of a squad of Desert Rangers, lawmen and women in a post-nuclear world, trying to rebuild society from the ashes. More than a century after the bombs fell, you’re fighting a losing battle to keep your beloved Arizona alive. Then the self-proclaimed Patriarch of Colorado radios, promising aid if you'll do a job he can only entrust to an outsider—rescue his land from the ambitions of his three bloodthirsty children.

You’re dispatched on a desperate quest from the scorching deserts to the snowy mountains to start from scratch, building a new base, finding a snow-worthy vehicle, training new recruits, and fighting your way through hostile frozen wastes. All the while, you'll have to decide who to trust in this land torn apart by corruption, intrigue, warring factions, crazed cultists, cutthroat gangs, and bitter sibling rivalries. Build a reputation for yourself by making decisions that will profoundly impact Colorado, its inhabitants and the story you experience. Will you be Colorado’s savior or its worst nightmare?

Wasteland 3 is a squad-based RPG from inXile entertainment, featuring challenging tactical turn-based combat and a deep, reactive story full of twists, turns, and brutal ethical decisions that will keep you hooked whether you’re a Wasteland veteran or new to the series. Create a squad of up to six Rangers and customize them with perks and abilities geared to your playstyle. You even get your own battle truck, which you can upgrade into a hardened war beast, bristling with weapons, to help mow down your enemies.

Plan your moves and survive in Wasteland. Difficulty: Wastelander (level 3/5), Friendly Fire off. Restarted after 15 hours - understood the game mechanics / skills better now. + Big team, 6 members + pets + Use spacebar to move one character only + Many different approaches for team building - every member has his/her own attributes / skills / perks + Crafting ammo and other items + Armor and weapons can have mods + Skill for repairing toasters + Interesting to plan your attacks when combat mode starts + You can talk to any named character to get more info or a new quest or just to know more about the lore + Missions have recommended level info + Retrain characters + Change portraits and randomize face in the Wardrobe´ + Country song in the end credits - Some quest items may not drop and you need to skip the quest, for example missed a Limerick in Warren - Collecting all cassettes contains missable / unpopular quest decisions also DLC + Both DLC-s are interesting and worth playing. However, start these before main story final mission, not earlier. - Steeltown DLC, final mission long fight was buggy for me, crash and the result not saved. Second time one char freezes, needed to…1 found this helpful
So funny and an enjoyable turn based game
This sat in my library for about 3 years before I picked it up and played it. It's pretty good, post apocalyptic, fallout vibes but it's own flavor of it. It has things that feel silly but the game takes it seriously. There's a lot of little secrets and ways to go about doing things differently. I played on the second hardest difficulty and it was a good challenge but wasn't too bad. Overall I liked the story and the crpg as a whole.
A must-play in the CRPG genre. One of the best games of that type. Fun decisions that provide twists and turns in the story, but won't spoil your game no matter what you do. Feel free to have fun with it. Very fun tactical combat. A polished interface. Good depth of tactics, character customization and crafting system. Highly recommended.
A buggy and unplayable game. Wasteland 2 was a much better game.
it is a great game
