About We Walked In Darkness
We Walked in Darkness is a 2.5D side scrolling platformer where you play as two sibling slaves trying to escape to the north via the Underground Railroad. Fourteen year old Grace knows how to read and write and is very intelligent. Eight year old Elijah is smaller and can fit within small spaces. They were born on a plantation in Georgia. Both have to stealth their way through obstacles like slave hunters and bloodhounds, as well as solve puzzles to escape while enduring the hardships of traveling as escaped slaves in a place where everything is against them.

Decent puzzle/platformer. Seems that most of the bugs that previous reviewers were talking about have been patched. Game played fine for me. Gameplay was a bit janky here and there, but the game itself was alright for what it is. I don't think it deserves a bad review in 2022 after it's been patched. 6.5/101 found this helpful

Геймплей сочетает исследование и элементы выживания, но управление местами неудобно. Звуковой ряд и музыка идеально передают тревогу. Минус — короткий сюжет и повторяющиеся механики. Рекомендую тем, кто любит атмосферные приключения с элементами страха.

I don't remember ever getting so angry in a game in my life , I've never been this angry even in souls games , damn why can't he just stay where he is when I change characters , I just want the last character I checked to stay in place is it really that hard ? , I press the f key as I change the character for the wait command , it sometimes strangely switches to the wait command , so I call it back because I pressed f , I don't know , when I'm not controlling that character , and why do I have to start from the beginning of the chapter every time , with that stupid save system ? I haven't tried to give this game a chance over and over in a few days , but it pissed me off enough.
