STORY
"The Beginning of Dra-Con Cafe"As simply explained by Mother Dragon Maru-chanFearburn, a world of swords and sorcery. Sitting at the top of the food chain was the commanding presence of dragons. And amongst them were the seven all-powerful dragon kings that ruled over the world.There was only one being that the seven dragon kings revered above all else... The one they acknowledge as their master and the strongest being in the world... Marmalydia Dot Fearburn, the Mother Dragon. To the seven dragon kings, she is on the same level as god and was worshipped with love and reverence."It would have been all fine and good if it stopped there..."Due to excessive worship, whenever I went out for leisure, it would turn into a country-wide celebration. Even the home I lived in started becoming a sacred pilgrimage site."Frankly speaking, it was getting annoying..."So with all that said, I decided to go on a vacation in another world. And this store I casually entered would soon greatly influence my destiny."How could you get here so late, Master!""Oh...? (What is with this ill-mannered maid... should I burn her to cinders?)""... Come here a bit earlier next time, okay?""Hmm... (Her mannerisms have changed...)"What I entered was a tsundere maid concept cafe. For someone like me who would expect to always be shown a cordial welcome... It was all very refreshing, novel, a first time experience for me!As I began to get hooked on these concept cafes, I crossed paths with a human male- Shidou Masamune and we hit it off like pals. We became comrades-in-arms as we visited various concept cafes together.Well, that same comrade I accidentally set on fire with dragon breath though.Setting aside the specifics here, I used magic to bring Masamune back to life. Then Masamune inherited the cafe that his grandfather once owned, and that was now starting to be troublesome for him. It was around then that I felt like wanting to try running a concept cafe of my own.These coincidences happening one after another meant that this was simply fate.There was only one thing to do!A dragon-themed cafe with all things dragon!It will be called, the Dra-Con Cafe!And thus the alternate world-feeling, dragon-filled cafe, the Dra-Con Cafe, is now open!CHARACTERS

A quick way to describe this is: NekoPara meets Dragons with a slightly worse story, worse SFX, but better characters. Dora-con cafe is cute, it's comfy, it's a pretty light story, and the "plot" scenes are written decently - but they do drag on way too long (think Marmalade length). It has some unfortunate SFX choices - some of the ones during "plot" had me laughing out loud. There's not a ton of plot to really write home about here, the summary really tells you just about everything you need to know. I'd recommend it to most people, although it's a bit expensive for its runtime (took me slightly over 3 hours to read, including the two extra scenes), so the decision to pick it up is really up to you.13 found this helpful

It´s a Kinetic Single Route Visual Novel with 2 Heroines. Both Heroines are really cute, very likeable and have a lot of personality. The Main Girl is clearly Maru but Fran gets nearly as much screen time as Maru does. The Voice Actresses did a phenomenal job here and give the characters their own touch. There is also a third voiced character named Tamako which I really liked. The very short interactions between her & Maru were absolutely hilarious and I laughed everytime when the two talked. There is an optional 18+ Adult Patch which you can download and it adds 5 H-Scenes to the Game. 3 are in the Main Story and 2 are Extra Content after you finished the story. These scenes are ok but a little too lenghty in my mind. The scenes don´t add anything to the story because after the scene is over the story just continues as if it never happened so it´s just for Fan Service [h1] Pro/Cons [/h1] + Nice & relaxing Story + The 2 Heroines are very cute & likeable + The Voice Actressess do a phenomenal job (including Tamako) + Tamako is a great Side Character (I laughed everytime when she & Maru had a conversation) + Music is fitting + Backgrounds, Sprites & CGs are nicely drawn + English Te…6 found this helpful
