About WHERE IS MY CAT?

"Are you looking for a cat. Or is the cat looking for you? Or are you the cat? It doesn't matter. Perhaps the cat never existed."This surreal adventure with dark humor, constant breaking of the fourth wall, and very strange riddles. Your cat is missing. This is terrible! It was kidnapped and hidden by an unknown, evil Entity that terrorizes the tenants of your house because it is bored. Finding the cat is now your unsolvable problem. You will go crazy before the end. This is not a threat. It's a statistic.

FEATURES:

  • Finding the cat. Somewhere. Perhaps in another game. Perhaps within yourself.
  • Riddles that don't require logic—they require psychotherapy. Your patience is a resource, and it will run out before the cat is found.
  • The purest madness happens so often that you'll get used to it.
  • Dark humor that will make you feel awkward in front of your computer. The characters discuss things that will make you miss the usual key-hunting quests.
  • Nothing is clear at all, and it won't become clearer. Wherever you go, it's the wrong place.
  • The lack of a plot is compensated for by terrible gameplay.
  • Meta-progress. To win, you have to do something outside the game.
  • Visual style: "What if a homeless schizophrenic drew a game after drinking three cans of energy drinks and vodka for a bowl of rice?" Pixels, sketches, photorealistic doors, jerky animation.
  • The game even has an ending!!! Or does it?
This game isn't about a cat. It's about you. And about how you're reading this description right now and thinking, "What nonsense?" Exactly! But it's still better to buy the game!

The guy wakes up to a strange event unfolding outside that might be signaling the end of the world, but his biggest concern is finding the cat that somehow wandered off. It turns out the whole thing is actually a game staged by an entity that has possessed his TV, which tells him he has only a limited amount of time to find the cat. Movement is restricted to a single plane, so you can only walk left and right, but the building still has multiple floors that you explore by using stairs and doors. Interactive objects are easy to spot thanks to large on-screen prompts whenever you approach something important. There are also icons for talking to people or using objects, although those interactions are fairly rare. Even though you start in your apartment, you're free to explore the entire building. It has several floors, extra locations like a bathroom, and numerous numbered apartments. Almost all of them can be entered, each with its own distinct look and, sometimes, one of your neighbors inside. Unfortunately, none of them seem happy to see you. In fact, nearly everyone is incredibly rude and throws insults your way, whether that's because the world is ending or simply the result o…
