I mean it was ok. A little bit buggy in some places, but an intimate story with a good heart.

Oof. I found myself being actively irritated by this game. It's an interesting concept: a young woman is stuck in a dead-end, soul killing job and finds herself reminiscing about her childhood. But this game feels like it's still in its development stage. The sound levels between the narrator and the game effects is off balance, which triggered me to frantically reach for the volume button on several occasions. There's no explanation of the in game controls - you just kind of have to figure it out. I didn't see a way to save the game if I wanted to quit mid-storyline. There are some environments that you are supposedly able to explore, only to quickly find out you have one path you have to take. And there are a few... levels? where you have to navigate an environment, and if you miss a jump (which is easy to do since the controls are a little wonky) you have to start back at the beginning. The final straw is that (to me, at least) the narrator comes off as a little whiny. She keeps talking about how she was sUCh a sPeCIal cHiLD who just saw the world so differently from everyone else... I don't know, maybe I'm just a grump. I just couldn't connect with her. I once added this game to my wishlist and forgot about it, only to one day find it in my library somehow, so I probably got it for free? Anyws, the game is short, but visually interesting. Has trippy vibes done well. The mechanics change often and I was never bored. I resonated with some lines of the narration, while some others were cringe or just random (for example, there was nothing about feminism or the protag being oppressed by men until a random line "I matter because I'm a woman. I nurture." -like what?). Initially, controller sensitivity was way to high, but there's now a setting to fix it. Encountered minor bugs, but nothing too annoying (like seing through floor on car level). Noticed a subtitle error during the "bad ending".

really don't recommend this game. basically none of it was enjoyable. pros: a cute concept cons: cute concept poorly executed--ok look, i get it. most of us are unhappy with adulthood, unhappy with how our lives turned out, unhappy with the current state of the world. but a lot of that's already been said, taken apart, reassembled, examined from every angle with a microscope. if you really want to be able to do something with regret and nostalgia and feeling betrayed by the world not being the way adults swore it worked, you have to do something novel or do it so perfectly nobody minds that it's already been done to death. this game achieves neither. motion sickness--looking at other reviews that mention motion sickness and mouse sensitivity, well it seems like at some point they added a slider that reduces sensitivity, but i still had major motion sickness issues even after turning the slider all the way down. movement speed--controlling the character in the third-person modes felt like trying to make them move through sludge. glitching--i actually ended up quitting the game and giving up when i reached the rabbit level. it was already awful trying to force the rabbit throu…

I had to check this game out because of the negative reviews and I discovered they were mostly correct. I waited until it was on sale for $.099 and found a game that really wasn't fun to play, and not worth my buck. It's about a girl complaining about the realities of life (wah!) who made a game to tell all about it. Unfortunately, they didn't care about the playability of the game or if people would care to play the game in order to receive their message. Save your dollar or 2 and find some other game to play.

I really, really tried to give this game a chance... But the platforming is God awful. There's almost never a walking or running animation. The player character moves so slowly that you wonder if you're doing something wrong.
