About Will I Survive Tonight?
🏠 Welcome to "Will I Survive Tonight?" 🌙100 ACHIEVEMENTS TO UNLOCK!
You've unexpectedly inherited a seemingly tranquil abode nestled in the eerie solitude of Nowhere. But don't let the quiet facade deceive you; as night falls and you drift into slumber, the true nature of your inheritance reveals itself. Strange occurrences abound, and with each blink, a new guest appears at your doorstep, bearing unforeseen events.
🔍 Explore the Mysteries: Unravel the secrets shrouding your house as you navigate through a plethora of mysterious events. With a vast array of one hundred unique encounters awaiting, each night holds a mere 1% chance of unveiling its distinct tale.- Unlock 100 unique events. Each Night another NPC will show up at your door.
- Meet Kings, Beggars, Traders, Killers, Monsters, Random People, and many more up to a hundred individuals.
- You start with 100 Hunger points, each night you will lose 20 Points. If you don't find somebody to give you some food, don't worry you can always just die and try again. (don't try this in real life, I mean it.)
- Multiple difficulty levels, so you can either play the Easy Route or the Impossible one.
⚒️ Crafting for Survival: Survival is not merely about enduring the night's onslaught; it's about resourcefulness and ingenuity. Utilize strategic crafting to combine items, unlocking new tools vital for your survival. But beware, the correct sequence is paramount; a wrong move could lead to dire consequences.- Find the perfect strategy to unlock the crafting systems and use your items in a better way to help your survival.
- Some events might need to trigger other events before unlocking them, for example, you might need to unlock Stones before building a Stove.
🌌 Stay Vigilant: With every passing night, the challenges intensify and surprises lurk around every corner. Stay alert, anticipate the unexpected, and outwit the enigmatic forces that seek to keep you trapped within the confines of your legacy.- You might need to unlock/buy/craft special items to defend against some malicious events.
- You might be robbed, stabbed, unalived by many events so be always vigilant and listen to your instincts.
🔑 Unlock the Truth: Escape is not only a matter of survival; it's a journey toward enlightenment. Venture beyond the walls of your inherited abode, uncovering the truths concealed within its darkened corridors. But be warned, the path to freedom is fraught with peril, and not all secrets are meant to be revealed.
Dare to confront the unknown, face the shadows that dwell within, and unearth the mysteries that lie beyond the walls. Are you prepared to embark on a journey where reality intertwines with nightmares? The choice is yours, but remember, in the realm of darkness, not everything is as it seems.
❌I can't recommend it. ❌ The game has a great, original idea, but everything else.... Firstly, you as a player are not needed here, everything depends on randomness, nothing depends on your actions, or you need to do constant savescamming. You won't be able to do anything otherwise. It's been a long time since I've seen games in which everything happens without the participation of the player. Secondly, in 2024 the game does not open full screen, the main resolution is terrible (a square in the middle of the screen). And lastly, meetings with characters are not interesting, they are short and in 80% of cases they don’t give you anything at all. You sleep, meet a guest (you don’t have gold to buy something from him), sleep, the next empty guest, and so on until you die. Winning the lottery is probably much easier than starting in this game.
RNG MADNESS
Will I Survive Tonight? is a game of one idea... and that idea is just plain bad. When everything depends on randomness and you can barely do anything without save scumming, then you know that the game is not good. Maybe if the story would be interesting, then I could get through the painful gameplay loop. But, nope. Will I Survive Tonight? has zero redeeming qualities. I can't recommend it. Story Honestly, I'm not even sure what this game is about. We get some rudimentary information at the beginning and from certain events, but that's not enough to make you invested in the "story". There are a few cool encounters, but the majority of them are just boring (and extremely repetitive after 20 minutes). Gameplay The gameplay is very simple. Pick the difficulty level, choose your character (just different visuals), and play. Okay... "play" may be too big of a word in this case. You're just standing near the bed and rolling event after event. If RNG is on your side (aka. never; save scumming is the only way to play this title), you can finally move the story slightly further. You're limited by hunger and health. Each day costs 20 hunger (which is …2 found this helpful
yes ,savescumming is mandatory in this game ,otherwise you'l start over less then 10 minutes after starting a new game. yes ,if you value your time you would probably be tempted to edit your savefile with extra money for instance ,up to you lol. this is more of a slotmachine-like than anything else at first glance mixed with story elements. do i recommend this game regardless? well ,yes! here's what to actually look forward to: when you do land on the 4th or 5th helpful visitor is when lots of options open up & you start regaining your footing ,finding just 1
mushroom
will get the ball rolling so long as your hunger isn't too low , its a game that feels unfair & that feel like it intends to clown on you but dont let it fool you ,stay patient ,the fun comes last this time around.2 found this helpful
