Wish Upon a Cat

It’s a short and cozy game with a pixel art style that I really love!! The main characters are a girl and a cute cat, and the characters are all adorable. The whole game feels really light and fun. It’s also a cute little crossover game that includes Easter eggs and references to Odencat’s other games, which makes it even more fun to explore. The gameplay is pretty simple and relaxing. You mainly explore different areas, talk to characters, and look around for collectibles. There are 6 game cartridges to find, so make sure you collect all 6 before moving on to the ending area, since you might not be able to go back for any that you missed. I also really enjoyed exploring each area and seeing what I could find. It’s an easy and stress-free game, so you can just take your time and enjoy the cute characters, pixel art, and cozy atmosphere.

Lowkey wish I played the other games before this one but it was still wholesome. It convinced me to start the games from Odencat that I already have in my library.

A short and sweet game with a pretty decent soundtrack, especially the ones from "Bear's Restaurant." Each of the dimensions had its own quirks and I liked how you could come across different people each time you passed through. I do wish the story/lore could be expanded slightly with regards to some of the characters though, like the cat, Kelly, and the moon-themed guy. Although the postgame redirects to other Odencat games made this game feel like a short teaser, it was still good in its own right. Would just like to see a sequel with the main character and cat reuniting at some point.
