About Wizard Hunter 2348
Wizard Hunter 2348 is a far cry from being a bloated open world stealth game. Rather, it is a tightly focused ambush tactics game about constantly creating openings, managing enemy awareness and ruthlessly exploiting their predictable behaviors. A single wizard can gun you down in moments, but with a bit of trickery you can pull a whole mob of them while you run around the corner to slaughter them all from behind. If you're not careful, enemies will be alerted by all the bloodshed and summon an endless parade of powerful demons from the summoning circles, making your life much harder.Play Your WayEach of the many maps is complex, with many alternate routes and exploitable features, like gas stoves and welcome mats. There are three playable characters, which each play differently, and they each come with a variety of equipment to customize further:
- Zero-Tank Hunter: Nips wizards in the ankles, killing them instantly, while zipping around the map almost too fast for the enemies to see.
- Tank: Wields a variety of heavy weapons like machineguns and firehoses to blast away small groups of wizards or even, with some care, the occasional demon.
- Traitor Wizard: Turn coat and turn the tides of demons against the enemy, walking past enemies without alerting much suspicion, only to claim summoning circles for yourself and begin the slaughter.

This game definitely delivers on the promise of a condensed stealth game experience. The mechanics are simple, and while you only have 2 abilities at your disposal at any given time, just the very act of deciding when to and when not to engage enemies is exciting. If you're not off-put by the game's eccentric art style and apparent lack of professionalism, and just wondering if the gameplay is solid, it absolutely is.4 found this helpful
I've learned today that foxes don't like wizards. This game is hyper violent: trees are murdered.2 found this helpful
It's actually pretty good with controller. I used a nacon compact controller. moving can feel pixel perfect, but you are really fast and decently powerful as the fox so there's some leeway.
cool
It has a lot of charm (the silly lore and details), the gameplay is reasonably solid, it's just so low on QoL (try playing at 4K for example) that it's hard to recommend. But I don't really begrudge the $2.50 I spent on it.
Nice!
