The game is very raw yet. Common - when trying to buy bread, it just gets stuck on UM/UMA, and you cannot do anything, or when you go and see a memory blob a minute away from the bakery - the game just crashes. The idea is not bad - I got hooked up even with some poor graphics and some foolish tasks asked to do, but still, I felt progress as a learner, and I liked it in general. I cannot say if they teach correct Brasilia Portuguese, as I hold only less than 100 words of vocabulary, but I felt some little progress, and this attracted me to play each day for 5 minutes, compared to boring Duolingo. If the main glitches are fixed, I could recommend this game for 3-4 GBP, but for 20 GBP, it is too far yet. Developers - If you need feedback from a real player, feel free to contact me. absolute trash, so unbelievably slow and unpolished, barely picked up what i was saying, when it did pick up what i was saying, the game said it was wrong, example: having the game recognise i said "tudo bem", for it to not accept the input, forcing me to choose from the list of words. I bought WonderLang out of curiosity and ended up playing for more than 6 hours. The Portuguese (it is Brazilian) feels accurate and is explained in a way that actually sticks, but you’re doing it while exploring, talking to characters, and playing little battles that are like flashcards. I’ve already picked up phrases, I am remembering better than from apps. If you like RPGs and you’ve ever wanted to learn Portuguese, this is honestly a great way to do it.
