WWII Tanks: Battlefield

Im a beginner gamer; told in the beginning to buy all the AAA games I can get my hands on; all the technical games with high ratings I can get my hands on. All the newest rpg games I can get my hands on… . Finally after about 1100 games and spending numerous trillions of dollars for games on steam; Ive finally found a simple basic hunt n shoot Tank Game. My Ancient self, seeking games for the purpose of mental rehabilitation from being alive; Finally; I find a game that simply does what its suppose to do; A Tank game where I fight other tanks in semi battle ridd’dn area; hunting and shooting to survive… . I love it already. . As of note; Ive only been playing about 2 minutes; and I love the size of the map for this little game; its just as much fun as any other game Ive had on steam but less complex… simplicity; finally a normal video game like the ones I remember in my teen years back when the hi light of my childhood was watching the First Man make it to the moon on TV; In the 1960’s; the best era of all time! . Great Game So Far…

It looked alright for the price but then controls does not work, right stick does nothing even tho the game says that controls the camera, makes the game unplayable, there also no pause menu so you can return to main menu.

got to play 18 minutes. never even fired a shot.

Dear Gods, no. Played the single player aspect, and it blew me away on how little has been put into it. The tank models are seemingly arbitary, as T34 tanks were one shotting Tiger 1 tanks in the Kursk scenario. In fact, I made all the Russian tanks T34s and the German tanks Tigers, and the the Russians won ! Literally placed 8 rounds onto the hull of ione of them and it just moved the the life bar down incrementally. So, not accurate in the ballistics department, lol Enemy artillery is super accurate and the enemy knows where you are at all times, so the only tactic is to keep moving, which is problematic should you come across another tank, because the barrel wobble is effectively turkey slapping, becoming stable once you stop. And then the artillery kills you. AI team mates will drive right up behind you and try to shoot the enemy tanks - through you naturally. Did not play the multiplayer copmponent, but given how bad the single player is, I'm not prepared to waste any more time with it. The options are: keyboard controls. Good and simple but I would have liked Tiger II s to have been included.

This is a simple good fun shoot 'em up game of tank fun, but it is NOT an accurate representation of tank warfare - if you're looking for a Panzer Elite type simulator you'll be a bit disappointed. The choice of tanks is reasonable although hardly huge ... but it does have the T35, KV1 & KV2, so it gets a big thumbs up from me. And it looks pretty too ... so, play this if you're looking for a fun 10 minute blast fest, but don't expect any real 'tank' depth from it.
