✦ AI summary

Players praise Yetifree as an engaging, addictive roguelike with excellent difficulty scaling that appeals to both casual and hardcore gamers, comparing it favorably to titles like Hades for its "just one more run" appeal and featuring satisfying mechanics, great sound design, and competitive leaderboards. The game successfully captures a fun, ridiculous premise with the yeti premise that keeps things lighthearted while providing enough challenge to stay compelling, making it excellent value for the price.

Yetifree is perfect for both the casual gamer and those that like a challenge. It's changes from beginner to intermediate/advanced mode let individuals who just want to focus on the best score for a long run have fun and not worry about the rage meter too much, while others who want the pressure of survival and quick thinking will have their fill on the harder levels. I haven't felt this urge of "one more run" since Hades, and what is even better is the addition of the leader boards to make you want to be better than others with this competitive itch. For the price, this is well worth the amount of time I am going to spend on it.

Pretty fun take on an old classic! Enough combo-type actions to keep things interesting and satisfying ways to feed the yeti - great way to burn some downtime with some mindless but engaging fun!

Just the right amount of challenge to activate that "just one more run" part of my brain. But the ridiculousness of the premise and those yeti nom noms keep it light even when I'm chasing a high score. Recommended! PS: The title screen doubles as an excellent screensaver!

What can I say? Playing YetiFree is like touching the ineffable. The coming of YetiFree was prophesized some ~2500 years ago when Laozi wrote "The Tao that can be told of is not the eternal Tao; The name that can be named is not the eternal name. The Nameless is the origin of Heaven and Earth; The Named is a computer game that will be written called YetiFree, in which you are the yeti from SkiFree and you eat the skiiers and it's gonna own" When I first read the Tao Te Ching and came across this passage, I was unable to understand it. I was stupefied; I knew I had read something incredibly profound, but didn't know what. I closed the book and have spent the last 17 months quietly contemplating what it meant, and it wasn't until a few days ago when YetiFree was released that I finally understood. Scholars are astounded that Laozi could see so keenly into the future, while I am simply in awe of the game. As Laozi said, in this game you play the Yeti from SkiFree and you eat the skiiers. It's incredibly satisfying when you maneuver your lil' dude into a big crowd of people, and even though I am awful I am compelled to immediately start another run when I lose. I am satisfied with …
