I keep looking for a geniunely great 6DOF ever since I played Descent 2, Overload partially succeeded in delivering, but I always keep getting disappointed otherwise.

Nice 6DOF shooter with tight controls and a unique visual style. Runs well on Linux. Full HOTAS/HOSAS support; having fun with my dual VKB Gladiator setup. If you like 6DOF games at all you can't go wrong with this one.

Zerograve is a light romp of a 6DOF shooter. It's comfort food for Descent oldheads, with little of its own identity. There's enough creativity in the weapon, enemy, and level design to keep play fresh, but it never becomes especially memorable. That plus the brief runtime is enough to ensure it doesn't overstay its welcome. While Zerograve is pretty inessential, its fundamentals are strong - I'm curious what this developer could do with a more ambitious take on the subgenre. 6/10

For what it is it's fun, an arcade-y 6DOF shooter. Def worth a spin.

Yeah so it's a 6DOF game. But... - movement feels jerky and janky, there's little weight and inertia to your movement and aiming, resulting in an unpleasant experience - the environment is montonous, and samey, and repetitive, and... The most change you'll see is tinting color changing from, say, blue to purple, sometimes mid-texture - weapons are drip fed to the extreme, and you can only carry two sets of primary+secondary
