✦ AI summary

VRNinja is a simple dodge-based VR game featuring increasingly difficult waves of projectiles coming from all angles, with a pleasant landscape aesthetic but minimal depth beyond score chasing. Players consistently criticize the high asking price relative to the limited gameplay variety and short entertainment value, with complaints about overly difficult difficulty spikes, lack of progression or story, missing sound design, and unskippable tutorial dialogue.

This game is utter trash. I got it in a bundle of games and I still want my money back.

Simple concept: Dodge a variety of incoming projectiles. It starts out very basic, one slow moving shuriken at a time, but gets tough very quickly with multiple projectiles coming in from all angles, and bombs that go off sending even more fast-moving projectile toward you. That’s about all there is to it, no progression or plot or anything to keep you coming back other than chasing down a high score. Decent game for VR workouts, if you’re into that. There’s no way I’d recommend it for ten bucks, especially when there are similar titles with more replayability for half the price. That being said, I got it for super cheap as part of a bundle, and I’m happy with the price I paid. Thumbs: UP!

Overpriced, and gets old fast.

I think this game was meant to be a landscape simulator, and on that is pretty beautiful. I think then the developers wanted to make a game of it, so they added some stuff that are thrown at you. The thing is though, dodging stuff is not that fun, and it actually falls into two levels: First stages: very easy, I play with my hands in my pockets and barely move. Advanced stages: you get hit all the time, you wont know how. It would be so much better with actual controller support, may be including a sword to do something else than only dodging. I´d say the price of this should be less than 5 dollars. I wouldn´t buy it for more.

Do not buy. -Tutorial very slow (no way to skip dialogue) -No sounds in the game -5 minutes of entertainment
