About Goat Simulator: Remastered

✦ AI summary

Goat Simulator: Remastered puts you in control of Pilgor the goat to cause maximum chaos and destruction across beautifully remastered environments filled with unsuspecting NPCs. This absurdist sandbox returns with updated graphics, all DLC content, a new mutator system to play as ridiculous goat variants, and the same delightful physics bugs that made the original legendary.

Goat Simulator Remastered is the latest in goat simulation technology. Your favorite chaotic sandbox is back and more beautiful than ever, with updated graphics, every DLC, and more bugs that you can shake a goat at. WASD to rewrite history.

Your goal? Chaos! Your muse? Pilgor the goat! If you’ve had your horns in the sand for the last 10 years, Goat Simulator is a game about causing as much destruction as you possibly can, as a goat. Headbutt, backflip and ragdoll your way around each level to earn points, and come up with creative ways to ruin an NPC's day.

Goat Simulator Remastered is the remaster no one asked for. It comes with everything you loved about the original game and more, with new and improved visuals, updated textures, shiny new lighting, and some brand-new foliage showing off the finest in advanced goat simulation technology. We've also completely reworked Mutators, allowing you to pick and choose whichever "goat" you desire from a handy in-game menu. You just have to catch them all first!
The remaster also includes every DLC from the PC version, and one of our favorites from the mobile version, including:
  • Goat City Bay
  • Goat MMO
  • Goat Z
  • PAYDAY
  • Waste Of Space
  • (Mobile) Buck to School
There are also less exciting new things, like general optimization and bug fixing - but we promise we mainly fixed the boring ones.

Key Features:

You can be a goat… again

No really, that’s still the main selling point

A brand spanking new mutator menu that lets you mix and match goats to your heart's content - if your contentment means abominations

As buggy as you remember - just because it's a remaster doesn’t mean we haven’t left in an unhealthy dose of physics-based bugs because why not?

All DLCs included - we could have sold them separately to you again, but if we’re honest this is already a cash-grab

New and improved graphics, lighting, VFX and animations - as well as revamped foliage for the prettiest leaves you’ll see in a Goat Sim game excluding Goat Simulator 3

Disclaimer:
Goat Simulator Remastered is a completely stupid game and has been a completely stupid game since we first invented goat simulation over 10 years ago. We’ve said it before, but you should absolutely be spending your money on something else, like a neat hat, a pile of bricks, or maybe pool your money together with your friends and buy a real goat.

not a good goat boy game they ruined it on this one

I mean, it's Goat Simulator and it has all the stuff. Goat Z, Waste Of Space, Goat MMO, etc. I find it strange it has less achievements than the original though. My other hope for this game was since it was being "remastered", my assumption was they were updating the game to have the quality of life improvements and smoother feel that Goat Simulator 3 has. But tbh this game and the original feel and look the same to me. There are obvious minor improvements to the ui of course and it feels more whole with all the different games combined into one, and things are a bit more organized, but still, idk. I guess I was hoping remastered meant a lot more. I wanted it to be Goat Simulator, but it feels like Goat Simulator 3. But it just isn't.

I will say, this is still a great game and remaster overall, but there are some things that are holding this back from being the definitive Goat Simulator experience. To start off with some minor drawback (at least for me) the lack of achievements compared to the original. This doesn't really take anything away from my experience, but I'm sure that there are achievement hunters who would love more achievements. Secondly, and this is a pretty huge drawback, lack of mobile exclusive maps. This is a huge downside to this remaster, and the reason why this isn't classified as the definitive version. I would love to re-experience the holiday maps from the mobile versions. I understand that Coffee Stain is focusing on Goat Sim 3 (which I think overall is a good thing), but the last update for the remaster was last year. I was so hyped for this remaster, this was my most played game on my iPad when I was a kid, so seeing the game barely have updates and the missing maps is kind of disappointing. Overall, it's still a fun game and there are so many quality of life improvements, but the lack of mobile exclusive maps and lack of updates make it hard to 100% recommend. For around the sa…
