[h1]Played On: [b]HTC Vive[/b][/h1] Quizality - Gamers Edition is an on-rails quiz game comprised of three levels; each dedicated to a different age of gaming and sporting a different environment, vehicle, and soundtrack. It's not only unique in the fact that it's a quiz game inside virtual reality, but also in that the player is automatically moved around the map. Thanks to the large text and clear font, there's no struggle to read any of the questions and potential answers. It all surprisingly works very well together. Obviously, this title will not appeal to everyone. Only those with fairly broad gaming knowledge will have a good time here. There are some solutions that are widely known, but the largest portion of the 75 questions in the base game are fairly in-depth. The three levels cover almost the entirety of each era of gaming history; from the golden age of the Atari, Nintendo, and Genesis, through the classics of Playstation and early PC gaming, all the way to modern day releases that include Mass Effect, The Elder Scrolls, and Assassin's Creed. 6/10 Played with the HTC Vive in a 2.5mx2.5m playspace. The game gives you exactly what it says, a simple quiz game with 4 different catigories mostly about gaming (one about christmas). While I appreciate the VR intergration which is the primary reason I tried it out. I don't think that the VR part adds enough. It's kind of fun moving through the environments on things like a tank but I feel like the whole thing could have been accomplished just as well without requiring the VR headset. I do appreciate any development in VR but I believe it needs some sort of intergration aside from just getting some extra points from shooting things. It's hard to do without feeling very gimmicky but I am sure there are ways to do it. I don't personally think it is worth the 5 bucks it costs but for a buck to kill a couple hours, in a bundle or if you are really into quiz games it's good enough for what it is. VR feels unnecessary here, but the Trivia is on point.

It’s a simple multiple-choice trivia game, built in VR. It’s well done, good enough graphics, and I enjoy the simple point-and-click extra points hidden around the world. The questions cover a wide range of gaming – from Pac Man to Half Life 2 – and are surprisingly tough, even for a nerd like myself. The big conundrum is why the dev chose to make this game in VR, since the questions all pop up on a virtual flat screen, and you just point and click to choose your answer. Could’ve easily been done on the flatscreen! A goofy use of VR as a platform, but all in all it’s well built and runs good… so if gaming trivia is your cup of tea, try it out! Thumbs: UP!

This is a fun take on a quiz game in VR! The balance of finding points vs answering questions are interesting. The visual approach was better than expected from the screens. Suggestions: view reset several times in five minutes. It seems to take the forward on load as the forward. Likely would help to only set this on app, not scene load. The scoreboard is inaccurate. I'm scoring 15,000 in the game, showing up as 3,000 on the scoreboard. Makes it feel frustrating. More questions can help. There are game show question companies that sell these for cheap, which would extend the replayability. In three sessions I saw many repeats. Making a note of used questions and hiding them from rotation would be sharp. You mayhave 1,000,000 questions but if I see the same 10 I think it's less. Overall, expanded my thinking on what a VR quiz coould be. Well done!
