It's cool for an hour or so but by golly are the AI character designs atrocious. Sigma Males and Bratz Dolls all the way down. The gameplay is a little too simple to be interesting for very long (especially the 2d adventure maps), and there's multiple sections where you have to run the same 3 missions on repeat to progress. I can't exactly put it into nice words, but using AI for a huge chunk of a game that is clearly meant to be both a throwback and a passion project feels like a complete betrayal of both of those things, and limits the game to never being more than 'an AI game'. If the graphics matter so little that they can be left to an automated plagiarist, it devalues the other components and leaves you questioning what, if anything, is actually a product of the developer. I just wanted some cool low-stakes X2 style flying, and instead I had to think about the nature of art itself. Overall, a letdown.

Bought this game because it felt like a callback to Wing Commander (esp. Privateer) with it's cockpit UI and retro optics. However, everything in it feels dead and soulless, the combat is barebones. And god knows why the dev didn't cut the planetside action adventure segments. I see where they came from, but those graphics are barely readable and they don't promise ... you know, adventure? As a plus, I't got me to buy WC:P on GOG and I have been playing that since then, after struggling to get back into Early 90s Controls.

Fun little game, graphics style brought back memories. Gameplay is fine, audio and weapon effects could be punched up a little - but hey, nostalgia for only a few quid. Completed in 7 hours

Reminds me of the Amiga days. If you like old school throw-backs like Wing Commander and Tie Fighter with a little planet exploration thrown in, you may like this. I can tell some heart was put behind it.

ts a starship sim which sort of reminds me of Commander Keen from way back when. You take on missions, travel in you spaceship and engage in dogfights, and go to different planets.
