The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

still cant run it on playable fps or without screen tears

I'll start off & say that, from a graphical standpoint, in my opinion, this hits the nail on the head for a remaster. Everything is just gorgeous. From the lighting to the water, to the models and to the textures, it is simply pretty. There is something to be said for how, in some aspects, it strayed from the original art direction, and while I didn't notice it much, it is worth noting. However, if you're thinking "Oh, I just need a super beefy PC to play this well!" you are unfortunately mistaken. Hitching, lagging, and crashing are persistent issues seemingly in spite of any PC specs. Worse yet, the game has seemingly been completely abandoned by the devs, with no communication or assurances to continue to improve this very expensive product! Personally, I would just wait for the SkyBlivion remaster instead of buying this. It just isn't worth it.

Devs abandoned this game never optimized it basically just robbed people. Waited a long time hoping they would release an update and i literally still cant play it to this day. So sad how they treat elder scrolls.

A proper remaster of a beloved game of mine.

Runs okay, still a lil goofy at times w character mechanics, I'd play this over the original if I got the spare change.

Now that this is a remaster it still has major performance issues with all of a sudden fps drops .To avoid this I must play on medium or otherwise I be watching a slideshow gosh dangit wish my nostalgia was not blinded,as my review may change but for now I just look at the lighting its like brown so to rectify this I added a reshader to the more classic look.
