✦ AI summary

Players praise Fallout 3 for its engaging exploration, strong atmosphere in the Capital Wasteland, and excellent combination of gameplay mechanics including dialogue, RPG progression, and combat that lets players forge their own path. However, some criticize the game's age-related bugs, dated graphics, occasional confusing level design in metro tunnels, and particularly frustrate with the ending's forced narrative choices. Despite these flaws, most fans of the franchise appreciate it as a landmark entry that established the 3D Fallout formula, though opinions vary on whether it holds up compar

I am 76 years old and had played pop the balloon, solitaire, mahjong, Zuma, Alien shooter at the last (top down games). Then I found FO3, the first real pc game I had ever played. I was star stricken, overwhelmed :-). I played it just after it came out and played it til the wheels fell off hahahahaha. Then came he DLC`s, FOI4 everything after FO3 I gobbled it up. The book of maps, the books of each consecutive game. Printed reems<sp> what to do`s, where to go`s etc and so forth. of Some in between games like Crysis and so forth. This was like my first love as a adolescent boy but, much, much, older. I had a huge gap between tech starting with pc`s and games til FO3. Personal obstacles if you will. FO 3 was my Kasbah, my Serendipity. It will always be my favorite. I had read books and such like this genre for over half century, 6-7 decades. I can`t say enough good about the game. But hey, what do I know? Could be wrong, usually am *lams. 11 out f 10 and 6 stars rating:) This game has followed w/ me on maybe, at least, 6 new computers/ upgrades, so specs increased by the pc. Thanks for reading. Play, enjoy, have fun playing is all it takes to enjoy games yeah? Cheers

I love the other games of the franchise, but this piece of ♥♥♥♥ was not fun. Forced myself to play through the main story and quit as abruptly as it ended. The ending was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid because my companion could resist radiation, but "You have to write your own story" ♥♥♥♥ YOU Fawkes you useless stupid supermutant piece of ♥♥♥♥ filth, I should have done what the president of the enclave asked of me just to kill that selfish ♥♥♥♥. Will not be touching this game even with a stick covered in ♥♥♥♥ because the stick is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ enough.

I assume that I have a lot more hours on this game than this review would suggest. But due to the game being old and not tracking the time played correctly, I wouldn't know by how much. This game is buggy, not really that good as the other fallout games in my opinion, but it being the first in the 3D series, I'm willing to give it a pass. Recommend it to anyone who has nerves of steel or is a fan of the franchise, or both.

---{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☐ Beautiful ☑ Good ☐ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ MS-DOS The graphics are dated, but the Capital Wasteland still has a memorable visual identity. Its ruined cities, subway tunnels, vaults, and retro-futuristic technology create an excellent post-apocalyptic atmosphere. ---{ Gameplay }--- ☑ Very good ☐ Good ☐ It's just gameplay ☐ Mehh ☐ Watch paint dry instead ☐ Just don't Fallout 3 combines exploration, role-playing, combat, dialogue, and character progression extremely well. You can follow the story, complete side quests, search abandoned locations, or wander in any direction and discover something interesting. ---{ Audio }--- ☐ Eargasm ☑ Very good ☐ Good ☐ Not too bad ☐ Bad ☐ I'm now deaf The soundtrack and environmental audio make the wasteland feel lonely and dangerous. Galaxy News Radio, Three Dog, and the classic music give the game an unforgettable personality. ---{ Audience }--- ☐ Kids ☑ Teens ☑ Adults ☐ Grandma Fallout 3 is better suited for teenagers and adults because of its violence and mature themes. It covers war, addiction, slavery, survival, and morally complicated decisions. ---{ PC Requirements …
