Void Bastards

Great visuals, but honestly annoying gameplay. The map planning is fun, but fighting annoying enemies in tight corridors isn't. Lots of walking around and collecting loot, but unfortunately the loot is never weapons or armor, but parts to upgrade either or ammo. It does have an ending and since it's a roguelite you will eventually reach it, but the journey isn't all that fun, despite some cool ideas. Average game, 7/10.

I've like to give it a good opinion, but it's just too random and there's not much replay value (despite how that seems contradictory), Once you complete it you don't really get anything new for replaying it, and the game doesn't seem to have any sort of consistent balance, you can end up with basically free ride ships early on, or you can start a new game and every ship around you will be filled with screws, outpatients and juvies with security all over, and nearly every choice will be the same. The inconsistency is why this is getting a negative. nothing is more frustrating than looking at your options and knowing there is absolutely no option you'll be able to actually survive on, but having no choice but to pick one. It's like having to choose between getting kicked in the balls by someone anonymous, kicked in the balls by someone you know, or kicked in the balls by multiple people at random throughout the day. Or you might get lucky and for no reason nobody's around to kick you in the balls, and it's a free stroll down the street.

An absolute banger of a game. Procedural, yet always unique, really funny and most of all fun. Go in blind, do whatever, do it again. Not worth 30€. i almost fell off the chair.
