Works with Steam Machine, may have issues with Textures , but this seems to be common issue with 2K games... I googled answer to change PoolSize to 4000 in DefaultEngine.ini (in game/XGame/Config directory). This is my second playthru, I did remember major spoiler (less you know, better). But I have mostly forgotten, so this was quite nice run. It would take about 12 hours to play from start to end, and I did enjoy this. Maybe again after 12 years.... The last part of the game is ABSOLUTE CINEMA, All my confusions in the story got solved in the end lol
After so many hours in this game and having played recently for the sixth or so time, it's way due a review. Infinite still holds up today and whilst it was initially not well received by some Bioshock fans due to the change in environment, to me it still feels like it belongs in the Bioshock universe. The city in the clouds is a novel idea and the level design is very cleverly stitched together. There's a lot more to unpick in the story here and a lot of it is convoluted. It packs a lot of themes from religion, rebirth, parallel universes, experimental science, prejudice, slavery, inequality, industrialism and more. Still looks damn pretty and holds it's own unique style that I've not seen since. The shooting, upgrades and vigors are still satisfying, though some vigors are better and overpowered than others. The shock jockey and crow vigors are my favourite, especially laying traps with them. Runs perfectly on Windows 11 and never encountered any bugs. Just wished the series continued but all good things come to an end.
