Tachyon: The Fringe

I tried to get this game to run properly but nothing helped, maybe its good but I never knew. Keep in mind this wont run on Windows 10/11 and apparently some tinkering is supposed to make it work in my case I did get it to "run" but I couldnt see crap because the resolution is too low and cant be maximized either. I am a Delta Force Veteran and enjoyed those games (classics) so yeah I wanted to enjoy this too

Classic old space simulater. Played it as a kid and loved it, replayed it as an adult and still loved it. All to the classic snark of Bruce Campbell lol.

When you click Start game, followed by the instruction of selecting a slot, the play button never lights up. This is a broken product in 2026.

It is an old game - but lots of fun and character.

I enjoyed playing this game back in the day but I'm leaving a negative review because it's too much hassle getting this to run on Win 10/11. I finally got the graphics working after using dgVoodoo instead of nglide (which didn't work for me), but then I kept getting the "spinning cockpit" issue and couldn't fix it using all the obvious solutions.
