[b]₊˚⊹♡ First impression is deceiving ♡⊹˚₊[/b] This is [u]not[/u] a "low budget copy carbon poor controls generic 2-6hr indie game", [i]it is a full-featured classic with 30-60hrs of very high quality content[/i], and the author's 6 years (and 3 of them were free post-release ones) worth of work in balancing & polishing this jewel of game into one of the best original games made in recent years. [b].⋆❀ Original, and the best at being itself ❀⋆.[/b] The game is [u]not[/u] trying at all to be say "the best metroidvania" or "the best kawaii/horror sequel/platformer" game, [i]it is instead an unique & refreshing original combination[/i] of gameplay, story, essence & style that can't be separated from each other. [b]˙⋆✮ It includes plenty of unique content & story/game integration ✮⋆˙[/b] Nyaruru is controlled very comfortable like the floaty soft character she looks like, with amazing mobility & attack; however to avoid to overwhelm it is all unlocked gradually; which follows the story's pacing moving from simple goofiness into a more heart moving & impressive tale, that despite that, remains true to its soul; which gets properly scenified through 16 unique stages & 18 unique boss fi…

I haven't played this game yet, but I'm leaving it a positive review because it's literally called "Nyaruru Fishy Fight". 10/10 game of the year!

Honestly, it was a pain to play, especially after the Frozen Plateau, game also have many bugs, mostly because the game was made with RPG Maker MZ, and it's amazing that's even possible, it just shows that if developer has passion and skills then developer can do anything even in a broken engine to create their game. The main thing I like about the gameplay is the character movement, it's incredibly fun and satisfying to explore the world when the movement is so wonderful. But the gameplay isn't the main reason I can like or dislike a game, I pay attention to everything but the gameplay, and this game surprised me in every way. The art style is simply stunning, I might even have seen this artist's drawings on art sites before. All the characters look incredibly cute and beautiful, and you instantly fall in love with each of them from the very first seconds. The music is awesome, I never expected something so powerful, many of the songs are perfect for battles, calm atmosphere ones are also great for bosses and the world exploration, especially towards the end of the game.
