Tunic has a really fun story. The puzzles aren't the hardest ever, but they don't need to be. Figuring out the in-game language completely blind is super rewarding, and I highly recommend making that your main goal if you play it. Bring a notebook. P.S ruin seeker is the cutest little guy

Great game. It brought me memories of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Dark Souls and Outer Wilds. There are some late games puzzles that I dislike (like the music and the language ones), but overal amazing puzzles!

TUNIC Personal enjoyment: 10/10 Honest rating: 9/10 Replayability: 6/10 Gameplay: 9/10 Engagement: 9/10 Would I recommend?: Yes This review will contain mild spoilers! This is a game I hold very dearly to my heart. For years since it's release, it's always been a source of comfort, inspiration, and enjoyment in my life, and I say that with as much genuineness as I can muster. The art style and level design is so charming, the combat is simple to master but feels great to pull off, the exploration is deep and rewards thinking outside the box and leaving no leaf unturned, and the puzzles are a surprisingly deep and complex challenge that feels like a whole new layer of the game. All in all, I'd say TUNIC is a fantastically designed game. There's so many things I could go on and on about, but I'll try to keep it brief. Let's start with one of my favorite mechanics: that being the manual. Instead of the typical game tutorial holding your hand every step of the way, TUNIC takes a different approach in the form of subtle hints and knowledge barriers you cross as you collect the pages of the game's instruction manual. I feel that a large part of the game revolves around this manual, an…

Legend of Zelda + Dark Souls, with a sprinkle of Outer Wilds.

Tunic is very interesting overall. The world building, atmosphere, music, art style were all top notch. The puzzles can be very difficult figuring out on your own and I ended up having to look a lot of solutions up. I am not the biggest fan of crpytic type puzzling but would still reccomend this game regardless. The combat can be tough as well which was unexpected just from watching the trailer.
