Silver Chains

Game doesn't launch and has been like that for years now. Save you're money, it's not even worth it on sale since it's not worth $.01 because the game doesn't run and the dev will never fix it. It's been completely abandoned even though people have been complaining about for a long time.

I was playing the game with my girlfriend and we encountered a savegame bug which did not allow us to finish this game. After we found a room which gives a solution to the lamp (which we accidently solved before coming there) and seeing a guy in a wheelchair with bandages, we wanted to stop for today but the next time we started the game we could not go anywhere (from the room with the lamp) bc doors which were previously open were now closed.

A good choice for fans of indie horror and detailed exploration👍 Pros: Design: On a personal note, I really loved the interior, the visual style of the mansion, and the atmospheric main menu music. Atmosphere: The game works as intended, keeps you on edge, and is genuinely scary. Puzzles: Logical and require good attention to detail. Cons & Nuances: Where to go? Sometimes the game doesn't guide you on where to go or what to interact with, which can cause you to get stuck. For many, this might be a con, but if you like figuring things out on your own, you'll enjoy it. Story: The plot is pretty standard, not a Hollywood blockbuster, but perfectly fine for an indie project. Timings: Monsters require perfect reaction time; you need to hide in cabinets instantly. Summary: My first playthrough was casual (~5 hours) as I just wanted to admire the mansion. Due to a split-second mistake with a monster, I couldn't get 100% right away. The second run, aimed purely at the difficult achievements, took just over an hour.

It was an excellent horror game with a good story and impressive plot twists. The only downside was the very end: just when I thought the game was over, it dragged on a bit longer—and the actual ending didn't really appeal to my personal tastes.

Wonderful horror game, it got me spooked a few times with some jump scares. I used a guide here and there not because the game was too confusing, I wanted to be efficient with my time. Beautiful house, great audio and I found the proximity to the door to access them a little finicky. Also once I set the game resolution to 2K, the graphics menu stopped working, so I have no idea if VSync was enabled nor if Motion Blur was disabled. And there's no crosshair, without it induces a little motion sickness. I dont know if there was an option for one as I said, my Graphics menu was bugged cause of my 2K resolution. About the final boss that constantly chases u, that's not entirely true. If u get far enough from him, it will stop and give u a few moments to rest. I did feel a lot of pressure, as u have to return to a specific spot over and over. But I did it in 3 tries. It was a fine boss fight
